Todays workout;
Squat-195, 225, 260, 295, 340
Bench-150, 170, 195, 225, 260
BB row-95, 110, 125, 145, 165
all sets x 5 reps
weighted hypers x2 sets
weighted abs x4 sets
Weight was 202
I would be happy about that 202. But it really is not a very "solid". A little layer of mush, the inconsistency (just a couple days ago it was 198-199), and I dont weigh myself at home first thing in the morning when you get your trueist weight. I will get there eventually!

Was able to bench up to 255 today. Felt a little discomfort while pressing. But not enough to distract from the lifts. Weight is down again today. 199 this afternoon. Getting a little frustrating. Will stay on course though.

Shoulder is getting a lot better. Overhead presses were not hampered at all yesterday. Hope benching goes well friday. 5×5 is getting more challenging after a few adjustments. Gonna get real heavy soon.

Shooting did not go well for my daughter on saturday. High winds make the clay birds fly erratic and hard to hit. Shoulder pain caused me to bail out of my benching early yesterday. Front delt, right shoulder is sore. From what exactly, I dont know. Oddly enough, splitting wood later loosend it up. Hope its better by fridays benching.

To make up for starting too light, I jumped a week from what I had scheduled. Today was heavier, but nothing too difficult. Going to have to jump up 10 lbs on the bb row. It was still way too light. Headed to the hardware store to try and find some washers so I can somewhat microload. When this gets really heavy in a few weeks, I dont want to blow the program up too quickly.
Will add a workout sunday. Would prefer saturday, but my daughter is shooting at the state high school trap shooting meet. She is the top girl on her team, and one of the best girls in the county. LOTS of clay birds will be dying saturday!

Going to try and compensate for the weak start to the 5×5. Will either add a day or two to the rotation, add a few exercises to the workouts, or accellerate the increments until I feel more challenged. Or all of the above. A short bout with the flu and the weak start have cost me some mass.
My cardio starts up now too. The house we moved into has a fireplace. Will use it regularly to try and hold down our heating costs. I enjoy cutting wood anyway.

Like I said in my last post, I started the 5×5 and I think I started too light. If I have to, I will adjust as I go. Anxious to see what this program will do for me.
The reason I was away for a while was because our house was foreclosed on in february. So finding a place to live took priority over everything else. Not a very good time, to say the least. We are now settled into a house that is bigger, and has a lot more land to it than the one I owned. My monthly payment is less too. Funny how that works out. Just got internet service hooked up yesterday also.
As I said above, I am training regularly now. Really only missed a few weeks of training while moving. But moving furniture is also a good workout!
I`m looking forward to what my future brings!

I will write a little more tomorrow. I`m back on a regular basis now. Started the 5×5 on monday finally. Though I think I started too light. Lake Erie fishing was good. Brought home more fish than last year.
