Alternative Spring Workout.

Missing the gym these days, but not from being lazy. I have about 1/3 of the wood made for what I need for next heating season. Started on a fencerow today and there is a lot more there than I thought.
Wednesday I leave for a 5 day trip with no gym nearby. When I finally get back to the gym I will have to drop the weight a little. Thats ok. Like starting refreshed and anxoius to make new big gains.

Did a 295 bench today. Did not expect to do that today. But after getting 285 x 3, I decided to give it a go. Needless to say, I was siked for the rest of my workout! Mind/muscle connection is true.

Weighed myself at the gym, then came directly home and weighed myself again. There is a 6 lb difference between the two scales. Weighed 183 at home this morning. Add 6 lbs and my corrected weight is 189!
Squated up to 355 x 2 reps today. Deep, thighs parallel to the floor reps. No half assed reps here.

May have a break coming up soon again. Have a fishing trip planned for the end of the month. Also have to start making wood for next winter now that the fields and woods are thawed out and dryind out. At the very laest, I will do deads, squats, and bench between wood cutting days. If you have never made wood, it is quite a workout itself. Was surprised by my workout tonight. Felt tired before I began, but moved more weight than last cycle. Not the first time that being tired has led to a good workout.

New weight

Todays benching went like this. 235 x 9, 245 x 7, 255 x 5, 275 x 3. Up from last cycle a bit. Was tempted to try 285 or 290, but no spotter. My pb is 295 from 15 years ago. Almost there! Gonna blow it away! Stepped on the scale at the gym the other day. To my surprise, it read 191.5. I knew my bathroom scale was off, but I did not figure on that much. My daughter is going to weigh herself at school after track practice. Then come right home and compare. If she confirmes what the difference, I will use the gym scale for accurate weigh ins from now on. I may be closer to 200 than I thought!!
