cycle in strength training?

Never cycled my program between strength and mass training. Always have kept the big three (bench, squat, deadlift) in the mix. Have decent results with what i am doing. Cant help but wonder if it could be even better. Any input would be welcome.

Pain free from yesterdays deadlifts. I am thinking about wednesday starting up again. Should I wait longer? Seems like a very quick recovery from tennis elbow. Last time it took years for the pain to go away. Then again, maybe it wasnt what I thought.

Did deadlifts. 4 sets of 275 x 8. No pain, just a "dull reminder" of what was there just a few days ago. Maybe a few more days of rest before trying to go full tilt into my cycle. No more Arnold presses! (sorry arnie)

Waiting

Still waiting out the elbow pain.The worst part is the no training. Gonna do abs and leg ext.- leg curls today. Daughter is to ask her trainer her opinion tomorrow. Hate this injury stuff, very frustrating.

Dont know how long I will be out of action. Tennis elbow has returned to both elbows now. I tried Arnold Presses for the first time tuesday, and thats what did it. I hope a week or two will be sufficient rest. But I dought it. Will try to keep up leg workouts in the meantime.

Short break

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

Time for a few days off. I have not taken more than 2 consecutive days off since november. Yesterday my left elbow was very sore and a little horseplay with my daughter this morning aggravated it. My weight is also going in the wrong direction (down). So maybe a few days off will do me some good.
