mid April my life got pretty disrupted, my husband announced that he had put in for a transfer. So suddenly, we had to finish the house to get it to sell, I had to search for a new job and and a new house. Because of all this I had to halt my Turbo and Boot Camp classes, (which totally crushed me - it took months to build participation and they were LOVING it) I haven’t picked up a weight in weeks (except to move them from the living room to storage) and the stress monster totally took over and I’ve ate Doritos and Chicken strips for like the last month. UGH! But the good news, is we finally know where we are moving to, our house is SOLD, and my teaching job will be over next week.
SOOOOOO - my plan: Get back to eating clean. Flush out the salt and "gunk" Fitday, food log.
Weights - 2 days upper body, 2 days lower
Cardio - trail walk/runs and continue Turbo Kick at home

alrighty then, one day I’m like, I’m going for it, I’m gonna make it, the next it’s — is this really worth it? who even notices or cares anyway? So back and forth I go… the internal turmoil between "fitness-bent" and "who cares" it’s like a constant loop or recording…and it’s driving me bonkers. I suppose when you get stuck like this - frustration is normal. Let’s hear from you out there. What do you do the silence the inner voices and keep pressing toward the goal????

So I’m starting to pick up running again, it seems to be the only thing that gets the BF off. Hopefully, this will bust me through this plateau. I need to get back on track with maintaining a food log. It seems when I do pay more attention to what I’m eating, I do so much better. Trying to stay off the scale, and just hit the weights hard. Really struggling w/ these last 10 pounds, but that is just nature’s way, and especially those of us who are more endomorph than mesomorph. Right now, I’m just trying to keep it going, eat clean and maintain my determination and motivation.

My training is going well, and I’m see results in the mirror. Rcv’d a few comments from friends. My skinfold measurements have decreased since I started in Jan, so that’s good. My body really want to hold onto this fat. I’m eating cleanly probably 90% of the time. It’s really hard to get my cals down because I’m hungry all the time. I can eat untill I’m full, but I rarely satsified, and then I’m hungry an hour later. I’m planning on mixing in some intervals before my Turbo classes, so mix up my Cardio - that might be the fix for my plateaua busting.

After eating lower calories and watching the scale stay or flutter upwards, frustration set in. Last monday and tuesday I gave in and just ate to my heart content (almost) but I did not follow my plan,*felt sooooo guilty* got back on again Wed. and here it is Sat. morn and I made this month’s goal 4.5 lbs weight loss. Whooo! What I learned is that my body needs about 2000 cals a day and training and the weight will come off steadily, it will jump up 6-8 lbs (once a month) and then fall back off again. If I stay eating clean and training the blubber will shrink, YES!!!
I can see the changes, my abs are tightening up, lines down the obliques, flattening, my arms look better, and I feel awesome. God’s plan and purpose will revel itself as I lean on him for courage, determination, self-discipline and motivation. Power of Christ in me!!

i’m trying to set up my "program" - but as a wife, mother, and full-time school teacher the "hiccups" of life keep flying at me. I keep telling myself once, school is over in May I can hit it HARD!, but right now it’s a battle just to keep my Turbo Kick classes going. The gym I do them has changed my locale, and my "crew" is upset, and I’m worried the participants will stop coming and my class will die. I’m also trying to get a (boot camp) style class going, but I don’t know if that will fly either. Then the other part of me says "forget it" and focus on my own training. Ah the daily battle of "Dang, what to do?"

I’m new to this blogging business. But last time I was on BB.com it really was a help and motivational tool for me. that was back in 2004. it sure has changed. anyway…I’ll get it down and hopefully in a few weeks I will have some good news to report as I get closer and closer to my goals.

Well, here it is I’m trying again. Lose fat, get lean, be strong. Lean on God’s wisdom and will for my life. I am 13 pounds from my personal goal. But that’s 13 pounds of fat I am striving to melt off my body. My plan. EAT CLEAN, eating is my downfall. I love food and I have a skinny husband who can eat anything and a toddler who won’t eat anything but Mac -n- Cheese at oatmeal. So up with the veggies, lean prot. and down w/ sugar, salt, and processed junk.
Train - every chance I get. Working full time as a teacher, having a toddler and a husband who is laid up recovery from Rot. Cuff surgery, leaves me little time this month to focus on my workouts. I will have to squeeze them in when I can.
