November 8, 2008
So it’s November 8th and a lot has really come into clear focus in my life. I have decided today that I am committing 100%. a few things have changed:
1) I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror today and while I have been making some awesome progress with my muscle/weight gain, I did not like how my gut protruded more then my chest. I know my entire life it has been tuff for me to make gains in the chest, however I have decided tonight that I am giving up ever vice. While I cannot say that I will give up alcohol forever, I did decide that I would drink the last of the beer in my fridge tonight and take a nice long hiatus from any time of alcohol intake.
2) This week, my best friend since I have moved to Charlotte had his first born child. This has opened up a whole new light for me. I have always said myself that I wanted children, and I still do. It is just so real that since I have moved to charlotte he was my drinking buddy that did not want kids, untill all that changed, and now seeing his mental transformation makes me that much more motivated to not only have a clear mind, but the purest body I can.
It has been 9 months since I beat my biggest vice in smokeless tobacco, however the possible reprucissions, seem to be never ending. First since I have moved to Charlotte from Pittsburgh (3 years this January) it has felt like I constantaly have build up/a lump in my throat. I went to the doctor in October of 07 to diagnosis the problem, and he thought it may have been allergies (even though I have never had allergies in my life), after numerous treatments he sent me to an ear, nose and throat specialist. Sitting in that chair knowing that he was going to put a scope down my throat (and come up with a diagnosis of what I thought for sure would be cancer) was the most nerve racking thing of my life.
Well it wasn’t cancer, just acid reflux. But now 2 weeks after the appointment, I have the worst stiff neck I have ever had in my life.
FROM HERE ON OUT, IT IS NOTHING BUT CLEAN EATING AND HEAVY LIFTING…………

I was completly looking forward to working out tonight, work went slow and I was ready to get home and start hitting the weights. After an extensive warm up I went for my first set on the incline bench. I finally got my new bar so I can get back to benching. Being that I have not done the incline bench in a LONG time I wasn’t sure how to load the bar. I started at 120, which ended up being a perfect selection. The only problem was at the end of my first set I started to feel pain in my right elbow. Monday I had worked Triceps and at the very end of my work out the muscle was a little sore, right by the connection point at the elbow. It seems that benching tonight may have done me in for a while, so I had to switch and work only abs being that any weight movement aggravated it. I guess I will put my next work out off until late saturday and give myself a little time to heal. Just wish I had a quick fix.

If anyone out there can help me please do so, because I cannot find any answers through the help section on the website.
The website will not allow me to activate private messaging, and receiving emails from other members. It also will not let me display my age, location, occupation etc.
I was receiving a box on the right hand side of the screen that said my account was not activated (even though 3 times I had the link sent to me email, and all three times it said I was active). Finally I changed my primary email address to another email address and reactivated.
This time it worked and that box went away, however I still cannot update those items. PLEASE HELP.
