bulking, building, boosting
I think it’s been 20 years since I purposely tried to gain weight. But, here I go and my goal is to build this booty. I lost the fat last summer and I could really see that more fat loss was not going to uncover the high, round glutes I wanted.
So that means a bulk, lift heavy, eat over maintenance and shelf my fat-girl feelings for the next few months. Now I know why people say dieting is easier. Once you take off the fat and KNOW how hard it can be, it is tough to let it come back on. It not the kind of eating that is pleasurable. More chicken, more yams, more oats, more whey…and then to hold back on more treats because I am "bulking, " is the tough part.
But I do have a plan to keep it reasonable. I will not go over prior bf highs. I am working with an online trainer for the training program and IF eating plan I use. So, I have help.
Now I just need to hide my skinny clothes, suck it up and do the work.

"shelf my fat-girl feelings" ………….
EXACTLY!!!
You shouldn’t worry about it and start with Protein and getting to less reps…ie… heavy weights
I hope the online trainer helps with your goals.
As Always, Wishing You the Best!

I feel ya! I just started my first "bulk" ever to put some muscle on! after trying to keep my weight down my whole life it’s sooo hard to change the way I think! When the numbers start going up on the scale I’m going to have to remind myself that’s a GOOD thing!!! I’d rather diet too, my skinny clothes are cuter! ;-P Good luck!
