Blog Entry

So, even though I’ve lost weight and I continue to run, I can’t seem to get my stomach firm. It’s semi flat and smaller, but it has not changed in firmness. I decided to look into lipo while waiting for my sister to get done with her breast augmentation. The nurse took me into an office for a ‘consultation’. She began poking my gut when I told her why I was thinking of lipo and she asked if I had lost weight recently. When I said yes, she told me I needed a tummy tuck…not lipo.

A TUMMY TUCK?

She told me it was not fat, but slightly extra skin. I was happy to hear it was skin not fat until I realized that I was 26 with no kids. Had I been overweight for so long that I now need a mini tummy tuck??

I’m going to try skin firming products first, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

PS

I’m REALLY bummed about the Hydroxycut recalls! That stuffed worked SO good!!

Girl, that’s like driving into a car dealership and saying "do I need a car?". I too struggle with a bit of jiggly below the belly button. But I would never listen to someone tell me I NEED to get a tummy tuck. She is SELLING a tummy tuck! Of COURSE she is gonna say that!

Apparently this is the last fat to go and you have to focus on lowering your overall body fat. And if you did lose weight it will take longer for the skin to adjust too.

If we had folds after extreme loss that is another matter of choice, of course.
