I’m so ashamed of my actions!!

Born to a very Jamaican family and married to a beautiful Jamaican woman I can say I’m truely blessed. Over the Easter weekend I let it get a bit to far. As you can see by my weight tracker I managed to gain 12lbs in a pretty short period of time.

Easter is when we celebrate the death and resurection of Christ, there are special services at church and plays as well as family gaterings, lol now at these family gatherings as well as at my home we eat a lot of fish (fried) hardo bread as well as bun and cheese, mind you I love this time of year and spending time with the family but I really need to keep a firm grip on my diet when these glorious times come around.

Back to cleaning up the diet again……or I can chalk this one up to bulking LOL!

Seeking some advice….

I’ve been working out pretty hard over the past few months now and I need some help with an area. If you look at my pics you can see a little difference in the arm as well as the stomach area, my issue is this. What do I need to do to flatten out the chest area? I can flex the chest and touch the muscle and feel the shape of it but in the lower area (above the rib) I still have a ton of fat there that I want to dispose of. My wife says that she doubts that its possible as that’s the way my body is but I refuse to accept that. Can anyone offer up some advice in the matter? Some exercises to target that area….?

Just get started!

I wanted to put this topic down for anyone out there who may need it. I found myself browsing through the different members blogs,photo’s,workout routines and whatever else this site had to offer. I even bought books about sculpting the body and eating right, one can drive themselves NUTS! taking in all the information that I did. Lift heavy all the time! NO lift light! do 10reps NO do 15 reps for shredded muscle so on and so forth, I found myself expecting to see results after 2 days!..lol bought the ab lounge and all that. Don’t get me wrong information/education is key but don’t be like me and read all the blogs,ads,website info until you feel that your mind is in overdrive as to what exercise and rep combo you should do to start, then before you know it 2 weeks have passed and all you’ve done is read,plan & gather pros and cons of every routine/exercise. Remember that everyone is different what works for Joe & Sarah might not work for you. The main key is to GET STARTED!!! Lift something!
