Today I read a thread about New Year’s resolutions. As most people do, I want to "look better" and "lose weight," but how many people actually get that done? Speaking to a local gym owner, he informed me that they have a 65% decrease in gym goers after the "janurary rush." That’s huge! I have decided to actually MAKE an effort instead of just talking about making an effort. Here is the workout plan:
Monday: My 300 workout, Bench 225×50, squat 225×50, 50 pull-ups, 50 clean and press, 50 deadlifts of 225, and 50 box jumps on the 3 ft plyo box. I do them in any order and as fast as possible. It usually takes about 40 minutes with 10 sec rests or so when I get stuck.
Tuesday: Interval running, treadmill, 35 min
Wednesday: Dynamic stretching, abs and core
Thursday, repeat Monday:
Friday: Interval running, bis/tris supersets. ‘
Saturday: Basketball
Sunday: Foam roller.
Its tough…but I am too competitive not to complete my goals now that they are out there for the members to see. Cheers.
