Two months in the making!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

The results for the month of July are in, here’s a small comparison:

June 22nd, I was:

Weight: was: 247 lbs now: 243
BMI: was 37.6% now: 36.9%
BF: was 29.6% now: 28.2%
Waist: was 46.5 now: 46

July 23rd I am:

Weight: 240lbs
Waist: 45.5
BF: 27.6%
BMI: 36.5

I am happy I am progressing. The nutrionist was telling me today that my body is genetically predispositioned to have a good amount of muscles because Even though my BF% is dropping, my BMI is dropping but slower. I do not know if this is normal, but she attributed this factor to my muscle workout.

I should acheive better results hopefully, I’m aiming to a complete 1% BF next month, similar to the month of June.

I am loosing it… :(

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

So I started my journey here at BB.com and things were going fine. In my first month, I lost 1% BF and 4lbs, I posted that information and I got good feedback from people, which obviously motivated to go on.

Later on during the same week, I received a workout program with a diet from Derek (the diet that has no carbs). Since the diet was complicated for me to understand (figuring what to eat, getting the 200 grams of chicken each meal etc…) I decided to start the next week on a Monday.

It was so difficult for me. Planning the meals, the timings of those meals and not to mention the cost! Everything was pushing me down… I tried going on track almost every day put it was difficult for me. I used to go to the gym day in day out. With the new program it requires that I go to the gym almost everyday and it’s just difficult!

Getting back into the habit is killing me. I feel like I am starting from level zero and I lost everything I’ve built the past month.

Also, friends (a very good source of motivation for me) are not around, everyone left the city for vacation.

This is very annoying! I hope I can get back on track easily and resume the regular me!

One month in the making!

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

So I got my results after one month’s worth of workout.

Not as good as I expected (lost only 4lbs), but on the BF% I dropped 1.2% (which is relatively good).

I will focus more on cardio from now onwards because apparently I do have a lot of muscles in my body, so I am more concerned in dropping the fat.

Wish me luck!

10 days passed — Where is the progress?

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

My first post was exactly 10 days ago, June 1st. However, I started my gym workout more than that, around 20 days ago, going day in day out. I haven’t measured the results, but I will soon so know the difference and where I stand.

I have been eating healthy food, however, due to lack of knowledge, not everything I ate was beneficial, it seems I cut down on fat a lot, which apparently is not that constructive to muscle building and fat loss.

Also, I’ve ordered Vaporize fat burner on the 2nd of June, which I still did not receive yet (it kinda piss me off, no?). BB.com sent me an e-mail with some interesting articles, BUT I WANT MY VAPORIZE!! :(   — that would be my ever supplement in my life, and probably my last. I do not want to get addicted to this. Yet, I just need a boost, if you know what I mean.
I honestly don’t feel that I’ve really progressed. I cannot tell yet because I haven’t taken my new measurements, but by the looks of it, it’s not that significant. Still, my pursuit to achieve my goals is on fire!

For some reason, I’ve been craving less chocolate, soda drinks, junk food and I’ve been focusing a lot on healthy foods. Seems like my brains has gotten all into the "healthy stuff". Well, it’s about time no? I mean, look at the my picture, if I don’t do it now, when on Earth will I be doing it?

I will be taking my measures in the coming days, I surely will be posting them to compare.

Happy blogging!

The Journey Begins.

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

Today I start my life with bodybuilding.com. It’s just amazing the amount of information you can get by reading through the forums. People are helpful.

I’m a bulky guy that has set his mind to achieve a goal: be toned.

My journey on this website started today. I already posted a "bulky" picture of myself hoping that in one month I can update that picture and see the change for myself.
Wish me luck.

…And before I forget, I want to thank Amino89 for helping me getting started here. He’s been a great help — thank you :)
