		<title>It&#8217;s time to get hardcore again</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As you see, I have not been on this site since Feb.  I was not doing well back then, and school got super crazy as well.  I&#8217;m not getting to the gym as much as I&#8217;d like and haven&#8217;t taken progress pics in ages.  It&#8217;s time, though, to get going again.  I&#8217;ll be changing gyms next month to save money.  The place I&#8217;m going to is just a room with equipment, but it&#8217;s less than 10 bucks a month for students.  I need to browse some exercises for the equipment they have, b/c they don&#8217;t have everything I&#8217;m used to using (no leg press, no back or ab machines, and no incremental barbells&#8211;so the one they have is too heavy for me even without weight on it).  there are a bunch of cable machines, free weights, cardio equipment, and bench press (which i can&#8217;t use).  If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to post!  I&#8217;m going to check out BB&#8217;s exercises as well.</p>
<p>Anwho!  It&#8217;s good to be back, and this coming week is going to be a new week!

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, the past month has not been good for me fitness and diet wise.  My husband was here visiting last weekend and said I&#8217;ve lost a significant amount of weight since he&#8217;d seen me last 4 weeks prior.  I&#8217;ve been much more tired, less motivated, and not interested so much in food.  I have also been thinking that I have been gaining weight.  These are all signs that I&#8217;m not doing well with my intake and exercise.  I need to get on top of this, but I&#8217;m just so damn tired and not really wanting to.</p>
<p>I went to the gym today and left before I was done with what I wanted to do.  I plan to go tomorrow again.  If I can get back up to 3-5x/week I know my mood will elevate and appetite will increase.</p>
<p>Grrrrr&#8230; why does it have to be so hard right now?!  I was doing so well!

<p>i&#8217;ve got the worst head cold E-Ver.  husband left town yesterday and my semester started this week.  i&#8217;ll have time to get to the gym despite taking five courses and completing 10hr/week at my practicum site.  it&#8217;s going to be one crazy semester (have to apply for practicum settings for next fall AND i applied to possibly transfer to a school near where my husband is living and working), but i&#8217;m up for the challenge!!!</p>
<p>btw&#8211;i&#8217;ve been logging my diet in a notebook rather than typing it up here everyday.  still have some not-so-great days here and there, but overall it&#8217;s going well.</p>
<p>but i&#8217;m a little freaked out&#8230; i heard high protein diets can cause kidney stones??!!! ewwwww!  i am TERRIFIED of anything like that forming in my body!!!!  anyone know if this is true???</p>

LOL I ate SO MUCH from Thursday through Sunday and NOT clean eats by any means.  My husband was here visiting, so we ate out for practically every meal.  We only get to see each other once a month, so I allow myself to cheat during those times.  This helps me stay on track the weeks he&#8217;s not here.</p>
<p>So, time to whip that diet back into shape again!  Be on the lookout for a blog from me tomorrow.  I&#8217;m not feeling so well in the tummy this evening, and I&#8217;m hoping it&#8217;s just an intestinal reaction to all the unclean food I ate the past four days and not a virus!!!</p>

<p>Here&#8217;s what I ate today (I didn&#8217;t note the times today).  Everything&#8217;s organic:</p>

<li>lentil soup</li>

<li>Sunflower burger, 2 pieces whole grain bread, nayonnaise, 1/2 pickle, veggie cheese, and veggie alphabet potatoes</li>
</ul>
<p>that puts me at approx 73 grams of protein&#8230; sux.  i could drink a muscle milk tonight to push me up to 100g.  maybe i will&#8230; as you can see, the intake is much less than I should be eating.  it&#8217;s been like this lately&#8230; and there was a day in there it was about half of this&#8230;. no good.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have been slacking with holding myself accountable for the diet lately.  Over the past week things have not been where they usually are with my intake.  Quite simply, I have been restricting, but not exactly intentionally.  I&#8217;m just not hungry.  There was one day this week I didn&#8217;t even eat 1,000 cals.  It has been a LONG time since I have done that&#8230;</p>
<p>So, I really need to take the time out each day to blog here, b/c this really has helped me stay on track with my diet.  But it is super hard to eat enough when you&#8217;re just not hungry.  I think there are a number of things contributing to this lack of appetite&#8211;where some people tend to indulge and overeat, I tend to restrict.</p>
<p>Anyways.  Be on the lookout for me holding myself accountable.  And nudge me here and there, b/c I really need it right now.</p>
