As you see, I have not been on this site since Feb. I was not doing well back then, and school got super crazy as well. I’m not getting to the gym as much as I’d like and haven’t taken progress pics in ages. It’s time, though, to get going again. I’ll be changing gyms next month to save money. The place I’m going to is just a room with equipment, but it’s less than 10 bucks a month for students. I need to browse some exercises for the equipment they have, b/c they don’t have everything I’m used to using (no leg press, no back or ab machines, and no incremental barbells–so the one they have is too heavy for me even without weight on it). there are a bunch of cable machines, free weights, cardio equipment, and bench press (which i can’t use). If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to post! I’m going to check out BB’s exercises as well.
Anwho! It’s good to be back, and this coming week is going to be a new week!

So, the past month has not been good for me fitness and diet wise. My husband was here visiting last weekend and said I’ve lost a significant amount of weight since he’d seen me last 4 weeks prior. I’ve been much more tired, less motivated, and not interested so much in food. I have also been thinking that I have been gaining weight. These are all signs that I’m not doing well with my intake and exercise. I need to get on top of this, but I’m just so damn tired and not really wanting to.
I went to the gym today and left before I was done with what I wanted to do. I plan to go tomorrow again. If I can get back up to 3-5x/week I know my mood will elevate and appetite will increase.
Grrrrr… why does it have to be so hard right now?! I was doing so well!

i’m not posting my intake today, and i know i’ve slacked so much recently. i’m just not doing well with the intake, and am finding it more and more useless to post it here. and now with all the final papers, presentations, reports, and exams… well, let’s just say that i don’t tend to eat so well during those times.
i’m terrified to take my progress pics for november, but will do it anyway tomorrow after my workout. i’ve only been to the gym twice this week… i have been averaging 3x/week and feel like i need to go more often.
*sigh*
semester will be over soooooooooooon….

- 7:00 am - oatmeal, cinnamon, raisins
- 9:00 am - gym
- 11:00am - 4 egg whites, 2 slices whole grain toast, string cheese
- 2:00pm - kashi granola bar
- 5:00pm - pure protein bar
- 7:00pm - cheese and kashi crackers
- 7:30pm - salad (baby spinach, couscous, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, olives, orange and yellow peppers, salsa)
- 9:00pm - muscle milk
and here it is 11pm, and time to go to bed soon. i’m gonna have some PB and an apple, though…

Agh! midterm week is here and i have been slacking with my blogging here. but just to give you all a run-down of this week so far– workouts have been good, except today i did the same leg work with the same amount of weights as last week, but i’m not sore at all. i don’t like that!!!! grrrrr…
eating has been going well, overall…. more good days than bad. but i’ve been crashing in the late afternoons (i’m guessing it’s a stress thing right now), and my dinners have been little snacks here and there. everything’s good and clean, but prob not enough this week. this is what happens to me when i’m stressed…. i unintentionally restrict.
and the H20 has been an ongoing issue. there were a couple of days i drank the entire 2.5L, but otherwise, nice try ;P
i’ll be around more next week once this week is done and over with!

I’m probably going to have some fruit in a little bit. Sucked again on the H20 today. I need a new plan with this, or something, b/c filling my 2.5 L bottle daily is just not working for some reason. argh.

Whoops! another forgotten blog entry… it was an okay day yesterday. Could have been better. The H20 intake sucked. So, I didn’t reach my week-goal of 2.5 L, which really bums me out. I’m not going to stop working on it, though.

Hmm… I don’t really know what to say about today. I got a bit of a late start, the time of my abs class changed–I’d have to wait an hour between that and gravity, and I really don’t want to do an hour of cardio in-between… I went out looking for an art gallery and got lost, came home and crashed… so, my day went by pretty quickly and crappily, and the intake suffered. But for those of you interested, last night after I posted I had 1/2 a Muscle Milk and drank a total of 2L of H20! Go me! My ass is killing me from the lower body work yesterday, which I am LOVING. I didn’t think I was going to make it through the squat routine and hamstring routine in gravity class, but I did!
So, for today:

- Gravity class (no cardio for me today… feels weird)
