i’m not posting my intake today, and i know i’ve slacked so much recently. i’m just not doing well with the intake, and am finding it more and more useless to post it here. and now with all the final papers, presentations, reports, and exams… well, let’s just say that i don’t tend to eat so well during those times.
i’m terrified to take my progress pics for november, but will do it anyway tomorrow after my workout. i’ve only been to the gym twice this week… i have been averaging 3x/week and feel like i need to go more often.
*sigh*
semester will be over soooooooooooon….

not so good today….
- 7:00 am - oatmeal, cinnamon, raisins
- 9:00 am - gym
- 11:00am - 4 egg whites, 2 slices whole grain toast, string cheese
- 2:00pm - kashi granola bar
- 5:00pm - pure protein bar
- 7:00pm - cheese and kashi crackers
- 7:30pm - salad (baby spinach, couscous, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, olives, orange and yellow peppers, salsa)
- 9:00pm - muscle milk
and here it is 11pm, and time to go to bed soon. i’m gonna have some PB and an apple, though…

so, i think i’ve gained ten pounds since Thanksgiving day! LOL I ate SO MUCH from Thursday through Sunday and NOT clean eats by any means. My husband was here visiting, so we ate out for practically every meal. We only get to see each other once a month, so I allow myself to cheat during those times. This helps me stay on track the weeks he’s not here.
So, time to whip that diet back into shape again! Be on the lookout for a blog from me tomorrow. I’m not feeling so well in the tummy this evening, and I’m hoping it’s just an intestinal reaction to all the unclean food I ate the past four days and not a virus!!!

I wasn’t as restrictive today… I think I did a good job:
- 7:30am: oatmeal, cinnamon, raisins
- 10:15am: 4 egg whites, 2 slices whole grain toast, string cheese
- 12:00pm: muscle milk
- 2:30pm: apple and PB
- 3:30pm: unsalted pretzels, soynuts, raisins, chunks o’ energy thingies
- 6:00pm: Pure Protein Bar
- 8:30pm: salad (spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, chick peas, olives)
- 9:00pm: couscous and tempeh
and i plan to eat a little dessert: plain yogurt mixed with muscle milk, ezekial sprouted cereal, and rasberries.

So, I really need to figure out what’s going on here. This is the third day in the past week and a half that I have unintentionally restricted. I need to sit down with myself and do some thinking and stop avoiding whatever it is I’m avoiding.
I’m embarrassed to post my intake today, but I need to hold myself accountable:
- 7:00 am–oatmeal with cinnamon and raisins
- 9:00 am–16 oz soy mocha (1/2 the chocolate)
- 2:00 pm–Pure Protein bar
- 5:30 pm–Cheese and Kashi crackers
- 8:00 pm–salad (spinach, olives, chick peas, cucumbers, tomatoes)
um, yeah. wow, right? this is really bad! Today was a rest day, so no working out. But if I keep this up, I’m going to end up losing weight again and relapsing.
I’ll try again tomorrow…

Please note that I sat in front of the computer all day typing up reports and working on upcoming presentations for school. ugh. I can feel the fat seeping in.
Here’s what I ate today (I didn’t note the times today). Everything’s organic:
- oatmeal with cinnamon and raisins
- coffee
- unsalted pretzels
- apple with PB
- lentil soup
- Kashi crackers with sliced cheese
- Pure Protein bar
- Sunflower burger, 2 pieces whole grain bread, nayonnaise, 1/2 pickle, veggie cheese, and veggie alphabet potatoes
that puts me at approx 73 grams of protein… sux. i could drink a muscle milk tonight to push me up to 100g. maybe i will… as you can see, the intake is much less than I should be eating. it’s been like this lately… and there was a day in there it was about half of this…. no good.

I have been slacking with holding myself accountable for the diet lately. Over the past week things have not been where they usually are with my intake. Quite simply, I have been restricting, but not exactly intentionally. I’m just not hungry. There was one day this week I didn’t even eat 1,000 cals. It has been a LONG time since I have done that…
So, I really need to take the time out each day to blog here, b/c this really has helped me stay on track with my diet. But it is super hard to eat enough when you’re just not hungry. I think there are a number of things contributing to this lack of appetite–where some people tend to indulge and overeat, I tend to restrict.
Anyways. Be on the lookout for me holding myself accountable. And nudge me here and there, b/c I really need it right now.
Will blog my intake later…

i know… it’s been awhile since i blogged about my intake. things have just really gotten crazy w/school.
now that we have that handy-dandy workout tracker, no need to blog about workouts anymore!
today’s intake (all organic yumminess):
7:30 am
11:00 am
- 4 egg whites
- 2 pieces high protein whole grain toast
- string cheese
1:00 pm
- Kashi Honey Almond Flaxseed granola bar
2:00 pm
- Kashi crackers
- natural PB
3:00 pm
- 1c plain lowfat yogurt
- 1 scoop muscle milk
- Ezekial sprouted cereal
- rasberries
5:20 pm
7:00 pm
8:00 pm
- spinach
- wrap with nayonnaise, 1/2 pickle, slice of veggie cheese, sunflower burger
Then I’ll have a muscle milk later before bed.
Total protein = a whopping 166 grams!!!

Agh! midterm week is here and i have been slacking with my blogging here. but just to give you all a run-down of this week so far– workouts have been good, except today i did the same leg work with the same amount of weights as last week, but i’m not sore at all. i don’t like that!!!! grrrrr…
eating has been going well, overall…. more good days than bad. but i’ve been crashing in the late afternoons (i’m guessing it’s a stress thing right now), and my dinners have been little snacks here and there. everything’s good and clean, but prob not enough this week. this is what happens to me when i’m stressed…. i unintentionally restrict.
and the H20 has been an ongoing issue. there were a couple of days i drank the entire 2.5L, but otherwise, nice try ;P
i’ll be around more next week once this week is done and over with!

then I crashed around 1:30 or so and slept until 4pm! I did NOT mean to do that!!!

- 2 cups black coffee
- Pure Protein bar
8:30 pm
- low carb high protein wrap
- nayonnaise
- slice veggie cheese
- 1/2 pickle
- Morning Star Chick’n Strip Meal Starters
- cheat: french fries
I’m probably going to have some fruit in a little bit. Sucked again on the H20 today. I need a new plan with this, or something, b/c filling my 2.5 L bottle daily is just not working for some reason. argh.
