Another crappy intake day…
So, I really need to figure out what’s going on here. This is the third day in the past week and a half that I have unintentionally restricted. I need to sit down with myself and do some thinking and stop avoiding whatever it is I’m avoiding.
I’m embarrassed to post my intake today, but I need to hold myself accountable:
- 7:00 am–oatmeal with cinnamon and raisins
- 9:00 am–16 oz soy mocha (1/2 the chocolate)
- 2:00 pm–Pure Protein bar
- 5:30 pm–Cheese and Kashi crackers
- 8:00 pm–salad (spinach, olives, chick peas, cucumbers, tomatoes)
um, yeah. wow, right? this is really bad! Today was a rest day, so no working out. But if I keep this up, I’m going to end up losing weight again and relapsing.
I’ll try again tomorrow…

I would suggest taking in protein at every meal. Good luck with your goals.

WOW!, You need to eat a hell of alot more. If this is how you have been eating then your metabolism is most likely shut down. First of all where is the PROTEIN?????!!!!! You look like you are not a big canidate for putting on alot of bodyfat, so if you added in the proper nutrients and training you would be sculpted in no time. First of all you should be eating .7 to 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight per day. I would go for the 1 gram. I notice you don’t have your weight posted. If you want to PM your weight to me I will figure out your macronutrient amounts for you, to give you some idea of a sample diet.

i know i do!!!
and can you believe i used to eat significantly less than this for YEARS (and some days not at all)?? i don’t know how i functioned!
i usually do try to aim for 1g protein per pound of weight… guestimating my weight as compared to photos. i haven’t weighed myself since february and have no intention on stepping on a scale anytime soon.
but i recently read this article that said the protein your body doesn’t use turns into fat… and that terrifies me. i didn’t know that before, so i think that might have something to do with how restrictive my diet has become.
i don’t know… i mean, how can i know how much protein my body is using???
