10/9/07 Intake and Expenditure

Another good day!  Had a great workout, too!

7:00 am

  • Muscle Milk

8:00 am –  Gym

  • cardio (ran to gym and back, exactly 1 mile each direction)
  • training:  abs, back, shoulders, chest

10:00 am

  • 4 organic egg whites
  • 2 slices organic whole grain toast
  • organic string cheese
  • herbal iced tea

11:00 am

  • black coffee
  • H20

12:00 pm

  • Pure Protein bar
  • H20

1:00 pm

  • cottage cheese, flax seeds, strawberries
  • H20

2:30 pm

  • baby carrots
  • soynuts
  • chunks o’ energy thingies (organic bite-size yumminess)
  • H20

4:00 pm

  • unsalted pretzels
  • Kashi crackers
  • sunflower butter

7:00 pm

  • organic salad (same as last night but smaller)
  • slice of organic whole grain bread and hummus

8:00 pm

  • 2 slices organic whole grain bread
  • Gardenburger chicken pattie
  • 1/2 pickle
  • nayonnaise
  • slice of veggie cheese
  • H20

And that’s it! Still working on the H20 intake for today…. still haven’t gotten myself up to that 2.5 L, but it’s my goal to be there again by Friday.

    Damn, i am impressed. To keep up with something like that is impressive in itself. I eat what ever i want and kinda just bust my ass later… but you got it locked down here. Keep up the good work!

    thanks so much! if i don’t keep track, there’s no way to hold myself accountable. and i have a tendency to restrict, so this has really been helpful… blogging about it here, that is!

    keep up the good work, have you tried to add a splash of lemon or lime juice to your water, gives it a little flavor and after a few glasses makes it less bland to drink. I agree with Deong, way impressive the way you got it all worked out for you, maybe a food journal will help my get my totally messed up eating habbits in order

    i’ve done that before, adding the lemon or lime juice… i’ve even added oranges!! i like it, but it can get a bit too acidic for me. i seem to have a terribly sensitive tummy… LOL

    i find that journaling about my intake helps. i hope you try it and find the same!
