Dexter Jackson!
Yesterday I went to the grand opening of Platinum Nutrition, a supplement store in town. Dexter Jackson was there signing autographs and taking photos. He will be guest posing at the Gateway Classic the end of April. It was such an honor to meet him, as he is considered one of the best bodybuilders in the world.
He will hold the second annual Dexter Classic this year on August 2nd, which happens to my birthday as well as his daughter’s. (I thought that was cool, we have a connection of sorts even though it is small) I hope he remembers my face at the shows and will say "hi." He’s big in person, but he seems to be a gentle soul, really laid back.
I walked away with several photos and a couple signed pics for the gym we will be opening in September in Coral Springs. You can bet we’ll have that framed and hanging on the wall behind the desk! (Along with mine when I turn pro

Hey, gorgeous photos - I am jealous! I have a similar build and am wondering if maybe I don’t lift HEAVY enough. Can you really curl 95bls?? What do you leg press and squat? Can you put up some pictures of that. I may need to start going much heavier. Thanks!!

95 lbs is just my one rep max. i typically use 15-20 pounds dumbbells for most exercises. I always recommend going heavier. you aren’t going to "bulk up", that is just a myth. You should train your body in cycles though. Try going heavy for the next six weeks. Good luck

What a cool experience!
Dexter’s the man!
I think it is so nice to hear that even one of the most successful pros is able to remain down to earth. Way too many people let a bit of fame go to their heads!
Be sure to get some pics you can upload if you decide to go to the Dexter Classic

Hey, i’m a fan, your pics and progress are great! I have a request actually — could you put up some photos where you’re lifting heavy weight? My g/f is starting out lifting and doesn’t believe when some of the hotter more feminine women like you on the site put up such big lifting stats, like your 90lb curl and squats. Thanks!!
