Hello everyone. It’s been a whole month since i’ve been on here. School is a killa this semester. I actually kind of stuck to a program. Did I skip some workout’s yes? But have I been trying to get better about that? Yes. In my opinion, I did make some progress. Made some gains. If only I could stop eating a these darn jolly rancher sticks. My diet is okay. I’ve been eating on average five meals a day of food (not supplements) and i’ve come to enjoy cooking. This may not seem like much, but it is a praise report and i’ve been getting a few revelations while working out to. It’s been a great journey over these last few months, now if you got a minute, read about my other journey…….www.xanga.com/jermaineburns

Well I’ve started again….I’m squeamish writing this….I’m doing well, just trying to balance working out with a full course load and a full time job. I’m getting pretty consistent plus the gym at SAU has great equipment. Now if I can only do well in World LIT…………………..

Well I started my new workout on Tuesday with back and arms, did chest and triceps tomorrow, and I will do thighs tomorrow. I’m sore and I think I’ve overdone it on Bicep day because my arms hurt esp my forearms. Any suggestions on how to alleviate the soreness? It’s even hard to extend them all the way. If I stretch it gets better.
I’ve learned the importance of stretching this past week. Stretching is so important so i’m leaning to stretch after i work out. Should I stretch as part of the warmup too? Your feedback is necessary and greatly appreciated.
So it’s almost week one of this particular workout. I got to tweek some some stuff (take some excersices out) but it should be great.
Jermaine.

Well, I was running out of money so I decided to cancel my gym membership and use the gym at SAU. That gyms sucks….missing dumbells….no barbells…….machines are constantly out of order…….so i figured I would just use a body weight routine……because i’m not strong and i don’t want to have all this muscle and can’t do anything with it. I started on it yesterday and it was tough but I like it. it consists of pushups, pull ups, chin ups, dips, swiss ball excersices for abs….the lower body will consist of some wieghts for deadlifts, squats, etc. I’m thinking about doing this for 8 weeks and then joining a real gym where I can actually use some weights and cycling back and forth. I saw this guy on youtube who was one of those world strongest man competitors and he could still do wide grip pull ups at 300lbs. I want to be that guy. Wish me luck.
