In pursuit of eating clean

Ok.  I have started this, now I want to start getting a little more serious on this.

How do I eat clean?  Where do I find good, solid info on how to set up my nutritional needs plan and eating plan?

I still want to lose about 15 more lbs.  Then, I want to get really, really toned & cut.

What do I do ? Where do I go?  Sorry, but I am completely lost!

I did a really intense workout on Sun. and a lighter workout yesterday.  (Sun:  1 hour intense cardio; then, worked lunges until leg & glute exhaustion; adducters & abducters; crunches.  Mon:  1 hour ‘reasonable intensity’ cardio.)

My glutes & upper legs are still really sore.  Trying to let them rest today and get back to a reasonable workout tomorrow.

Wondering how to find a workout buddy/mentor here for this.  Maybe I’ll just ask a local friend that I know of.  Also, trying to figure out what "eating clean" means???

Daily Caloric for consistent weight loss

So, I have been using livestrong.com/thedailyplate to try and manage my calories and intake for the day.

Based on their calorie calculator, I am selecting "moderately active" - which might be a stretch; age 39, want to lose 2 lbs. per week; 5′5".  This tells me that I can eat 1100 calories a day.

Now, I am a vegetarian and tend to be a light eater anyway, but this seems like a stretch for me.  Guess I’ll try it for a week; if I’m losing a lot more than 2 lbs., then I’ll increase my intake a bit.

Anyone else have any thoughts/ suggestions?
