OK, over the past 2 months I reverted back to old habits. Since acquiring a second job in order to finance vacations, birthday celebration, and other misc. endeveors I abandoned all the good habits that I had developed. I’ve gone back to hardly sleeping, hardly working out, and of course poor food choices which included large increases in sugar intake (can’t drink cofee without it). All this has casused me to gain weight (220) moving me further away from my goal of being 200 and performing better on the court.
Now I will admit to having a fun time in the process (I had a GREAT Birthday) but now its time to get back to the business at hand., I will not allow myself to look like so many of my peers that have let themselves go physically. I will no longer allow myself to put off workouts or make poor food choices out of convenience. I’m re-dedication myself to working out, making good ddecisions and getting sufficient rest. SO fellow bodyspacers thanks for the motivation and your continous support is needed and appreciated….

I’ve seen in magazine how important your diet is and even watched the transformation of people on this website. Up until these last few days i wasn’t seeing the results i wanted just working out alone. WOW, what a difference the change in my eating had on my body during the 10 days. I dropped 6 pounds and was able to see noticible changes in my body as well as my energy levels. Even though I’ve reverted back to the not so clean path i was on for a breif period, i definatly know now what has to take place to achieve my goals and will return to them as soon as the NCAA tounament is over (april 6 is the championship game)

OK yesterday was my first day with my new cardio plan. I think i almost busted a lung but felt good to make a step in the right direction. Here is what i did
warmed up with 1/2 mile jog at 10min mile pace around track
then i switched to my cleats and got to work
2X100 yard dash w/ 45 seconds rest
4X50 yard dash with 30 seconds rest
then 8 down and backs (going side lne to side line on football field) with 1:30 sec rest
then 1/2 mile cool off and strech
I was worn out by the end, Back tightened up and legs felt like rubber but I pushed thru.
