Going to Madrid, Malaga & Granada–any recommendations?
My family & I are going to Spain next week. Any recommendations for restaurants or things to do that are not in the travel guides? Not going to rack my brain for clean eats, will have to go with the flow. Not sure if I’ll get any training in, but plan to have some fun, dip my foot in the Mediterranean, eat a little paella, and drink a few glasses of wine.

I made this trip with family a few years ago. We stayed at a Marriott timeshare in Malaga (don’t recall seeing a lot there but the beach was cool- a little rocky) rented a car and drove to the Rock of Gibralter- very cool, plus shopping there- must park and walk thru an airport landing(!), in Madrid we saw the huge historic cathedral, in Grenada we saw a historic palace.

Oh, and I think the amazing port we visited was in Grenada. The village buildings were white, there were a bzillion amazing yachts, shops, bars and boutiques. And if you speak to anyone in Barcelona, remember to pronounce it "BarTHalona", the king had a lisp and everything is pronounced that way! Olives are pronounced "Ah-thay-tuna" LOL!Have a great time!!!
