When I see women on stage competiting its a celebration of all the hard work and dedication you all put into it. Just to get yourself to the point where you feel comfortable with your body to walk on stage in a two piece bikini is a victory in itself. Most women can't feel comfortable in jeans and t-shirt walking down the block. I commend you all for your effects.

I loved this post. For my first competition it was just the thrill of being on stage.I could have come in last and been on Cloud 9. For the second, I had high expectations, my body didn't cooperate, and I too, felt so, so disappointed. But for this next one I am being adventurous, balanced, and trying to really learn my body--and I've made a promise to myself--I will never again leave my spirit on that stage.

There is no way to explain the thrill of competition to someone who has never done it...I know I didnt fully understand it until I got on stage. But the feeling once you're up there, is SO ADDICTING!!!! Good luck on your future shows, and dont worry about placings...you show up at your best and thats all that counts!
