Obsession, different?
Thursday, October 23rd, 2008There is a fine line that treads between normality and excellence. Those who are normal will abhor those who seek their lives to be filled with excellence and pride. We are normally shunned by those who do not understand our ways, nor do they even want to grasp the concept. There are times when I find myself angered knowing that I am exiled from the rest, and whispers and motions are meant to mock me. The worst thing is to know that you have dedicated yourself to principle, to determination and honor and the only thing the majority can do is humiliate you. All they can do is decide your every fault within seconds of your entrance.
The claim you to be sick, obssesive, different. Obssesion is a term identified to people such as myself as undeniable dedication, but to many it means that you have a mental disorder, or your proned to some kind of disease such as reverse anorexia. Ive always been different, even growing up in highschool. I was the kind of guy that would still bring a rose to a date, while the others brought alcohol hoping that it would lead to something. I was the guy outside the party staring into the sky, dreaming of a life beyond my own means, and the only way to acheive it is by my own hands. I write this blog not in negativity, but only hoping that those who do not understand people such as myself and others will have a glimpse of our outlook, of our perspective.
We would like you to judge not, as we do not judge you. It takes a certain person, a certain mental capacity to do things that we do. We look to the future not in concern or worry, rather we look to the future to find our victory. That victory is not just one, but many. Our lives are composed of a winning attitude hoping that every bite we eat, every step we take, every weight we lift will be that next step to the very top. We look to the future to see that our work is not undone, it is fulfilled in our very eyes, and that ladies and gentelmen is the perspective outlook of a bodybuilding lifestlye!
