Irregularities

Certain aspects in one’s training pertain to the role of self fullfillement and purpose. We strive to have meaning in something we can consider an honor or a dignified principle. The very role of bodybuilding entitles itself with such precision, determination, and perseverance that I believe it should be marked as a philosophy and an art. Unless you have witnessed or even endured a bodybuilder’s lifestyle, you couldn’t possibly fathom the habitual and religious counts of practices we do. For most people, they have a lifestyle that strives on support, care, and providing. This lifestyle leads to irregularities in pattern and habits. For a bodybuilder, there is no off course, there is no deviation from the goal that has been set, for that goal could be the next glorious step towards being the greatest champion of all.

We are competitive in spirit, we love the very thought of challenge. We try to find things in our lives that will not only challenge us but lead us to more promising results. We will research pages beyond pages to find new scientific ways to support our goals and regain that competitive edge lost over another, and very simply nothing is ever going to be enough for us. We live in constant denial that the day before was our very best, that the last rep was the only thing left to provide enough energy to lift our thumb. For that reason, some may call us obsessed, but I believe that is called determination, I believe that is called reason to defy the very existence of fatigue and defeat.

We are those who don’t suffice, we are those who don’t fall at the first obstacle. If we are to fall, we only hope that the next step we take will be that much stronger. Bodybuilding is not something to be regarded as a joke or ridiculed. For us, it is the art of beauty in our eyes!

Back in the game!

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

I am writing this blog to state regardless of all my disinterest with the bodybuilding era today, Ive decided to compete again. The reason I changed my mind is because of my best student. She has inspired me to believe in myself once again and know that bodybuilding is for self victory, not for others! With this in mind I have already begun to diet for the upcoming Texas Europa Supershow and I will be competing in the light heavy weight division! I looking foward to meeting with my student and her outstanding prep coach for the first time!
