I always wondered and questioned why some people who have these fantastic physiques would never do a bodybuilding competition. As I grow more involved with the sport and the general philosophy of self bodybuilding I am beginning to realize that the sport might have lost its touch for me. Every magazine that I pick up I see these so called favorites in the IFBB and what they look like to me anymore is the product model of a pharmaceutical rep, there is no reverance in what they do. Then the more research you conduct you find that their in season diet is close to 5,000 calories, 249 grams of fat, and 600 grams of carbs. You begin to question the direct philosophy of the sport that the great Reg Park taught, to live life one day at a time, live fully, live healthy and enjoy the sport of bodybuilding as a gift of life.
Anymore it seems to have become the sport of how many drugs does it take for one man to explode. Then we enter the realm of the natural league, you have to have respect for these guys, they bust their ass day in and day out for years to come. My debate on entering the realm of the natural bodybuilding league is the fact that my body does not function properly below 7%, injury occurs, slight dementia, you know the whole nine yards. I only hope that the day will come when the natural league will exceed the pro league and the men who deserve the respect and pay will be victorious. I however, am still stuck between my thoughts whether to enter, or not to enter. Only time will tell and I still have quite a bit to go, just a lot of trial and error!

My rotator cuff is feeling better day by day, I am currently back up to the 100 rack on my flat and incline presses. The flats are still causing a slight amount of irritation, but Im glad to see that I can handle the weight again. All of my pulling motions including pull ups no longer give me any problems. I am estimating that within the next 2 weeks it should be 100% again. From there I will decide whether or not to do the April show, or get photo ready and create a portfolio. Venom Lean Dreams is truly helping me promote a deeper sleep which I think is responding to the healing time of my shoulder! Thanks for listening!

First off, I would like to thank everyone for their support, my shoulder is beginning to feel way better, I think that the injury pertained to overtraining. I am now reevaluating my pre contest diet and strength program to find the glitch and fix it. My workouts are high volume at this point, but they are still very hard! Thanks again!

Im sorry to say but the contest that I recently had scheduled to compete in is not going to happen due to an injured shoulder. Its nothing bad, but it was getting to the point where it was becoming career endangering, which in my opinion, no contest is worth. So letting everyone know that I will not be competing in the March show, still possibly in the April show though, all depends on how quickly I recover, but things are looking up already! Thanks for your concern!
Josh
