Cardio king!!!

I woke up at 10:00 am this morning, and went to the gym.  I did 45 minutes of cardio and I feel Grrrrrreat!!!!  Now, I am eating some egg beaters, a blueberry bagel w/ peanut butter, and some turkey sausage.  Yummy!!!

Almost Friday

I had a good leg workout tonight, so I hope I can sleep good tonight.  I am usually so hyped after a leg workout that I have trouble sleeping.

My teenage daughter has her best friend over, and they are driving me nuts.  Good night!!!

A weekend of plenty

I ate way too much this weekend, but I am motivated to eat right again.  That is all I will say about that.

I had a good chest workout tonight, because my shoulder has had ample time to heal.  I started with dumbbell presses for 6 sets, incline bar presses for 4 sets, decline machine presses for 4 sets, and machine flyes for 4 sets.

I topped it off with 10 minutes in the sauna.  Goodnight!!!

Too many compliments…….Huh???

It is hard to explain, but the compliments that I get are starting to hurt my progress.  I have lost 50 pounds, and gained 10-15 pounds of muscle, but I am far from where I want to be.  The positive comments make me feel that I am already there, but I am not.  I have much heftier goals for myself, but I do really appreciate the comments that I get.  I can’t believe I am about to say this, but I want them to stop for a while.

Boring, but nice

Sunday, March 9th, 2008

I spent Sunday by myself.  My wife and my three girls were gone, so I just relaxed.  I will start my new routine tomorrow, which includes a rest day on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The Supercissus Rx seems to be helping my arthritis and my joints.  I will let everyone know its efficacy after I have taken it for a longer while.

I had a good leg workout tonight.  I did lighter weight leg presses for 5 sets, then I did 5 sets of leg extensions followed by 5 sets of heavy leg curls.  I finished my night with 15 minutes in the sauna, in which I listened to 90’s rock to pass the time away.

Tired

I did not get much sleep last night, because I took my NO-Xplode too late.  I plan on going to bed soon.

I did chest tonight, but my shoulder is still aching.  If it is not icy outside in the morning, I will go do cardio.

The new G2 Gatorade tastes like Pedialyte

I took my NO-Xplode tonight and did a biceps/ back workout tonight.  It went well, but I did not go heavy.  I think I am done doing heavy weights, and I will do more reps instead.  I gained 10 pounds of muscle over the last few months, but I don’t need any more.  I have a very small frame, and I don’t think my osteo-arthritis can take much more.

Not quite ready yet

I did cardio this morning (30 minutes elliptical), but I am not quite ready to start lifting again.  I am taking Supercissus to help my joints and tendons, so I hope it helps.

My wife is wanting me to start cooking dinner two nights a week, so I guess I better start learning.  I can’t give the kids protein drinks…..Damn!!!

I am taking a week break from the weights due to shoulder pain.  I think it is my arthritis flaring up, so I am gonna rest my muscles.  I am aslo taking a break from my first cycle of Lipo6x, which works really well, but you need at least a week away from it.
