I weighed this morning, and I am almost to the 230’s. 

I worked my biceps tonight.  I really used this workout as a rest day, because I hate working biceps.  I didn’t workout that hard, but I needed a break.

Monday

I had a heavy back workout, but I didn’t start a journal of my progress.  Oh well, I will try again tomorrow on shoulder day.

I did 100 reps of crunches, and 7 minutes in the sauna.

Sunday

I had a good chest workout tonight, but I realized that I need to keep a journal of what I lift every workout.  I kept a record of all my progress years ago, but I haven’t done it lately.  I will begin recording my progress tomorrow, starting with my back workout.

I did 45 minutes on the elliptical today (burning 600+ calories).

Leg day…

Friday, August 24th, 2007

I got sick to my stomache again.  I get sick every time I work out legs.  Oh well.  I had a good (heavy) workout and tomorrow is my rest day.

I did 100 reps on abs and 5 minutes in the sauna also.

Thursday…

I did arms tonight.  I hate working biceps, because I don’t really feel the pump in them.  On the other hand, I love working triceps, because I have gained a lot of strength and muscle definition.

I also did 32 minutes on the elliptical, burning 500+ calories.

I had a good shoulder workout tonight, and my wife showed up at the gym at the perfect time.  We both did 30 minutes of cardio.

Wednesday is weigh day and rest day.  Goodnight.

Sunday…

I did a chest workout today.  I didn’t lift quite what I wanted, but I had a good workout.  I did barbell lifts today, and I will do dumbells next time for a bit of change.

I also did 39 minutes on the elliptical machine (burning 600+ calories).

Never again….

I worked out everyday this week, but I am paying the toll today.  I am exhausted.  I usually go three days then rest, but I was off this last weekend.  I tried to make up for it this week.

I will go back to my regular workout starting Sunday.

I did a fairly heavy workout for my back, so I limited the number of sets per exercise.  It went well.  I also did 36 minutes on the elliptical machine tonight (burned 600 calories).

Rest day

I was supposed to rest tonight, but I changed the oil in my truck.  It wouldn’t have been much to it, but it was "Tarzan" hot.  I will workout back tomorrow.
