My shoulders
October 10, 2007So yesterday I worked on my shoulders. This is always a very discouraging day for me because I have a shoulder injury on my right side. This is my weakest area in my opinion. Currently I’m doing a lot of cable work on my shoulder days. I only use free weights to build the rear shoulder. I am open to hearing any suggestions for new excersices to develope better symtrey and size. Today I did cardio since it was my rest day. On Sunday I will be getting up with my amazing trainer Valerie Worrell http://www.valfitclub.com/bin/index.php who has graciously donated alot of free training to help me reach my goal of winnning Emerald Cup 2008 Best Overall Figure. Does it seem like I shooting to high? I don’t think so I saw last years competitors and (no offensense) over half those girls had no business on a stage. I wanted to compete last year but I’m a perfectionist and I want to bring my best to the table and a extra year of training so I can stand out on stage very important to me. So if anyone has any knowledge about training an injured shoulder feel free to give your advice.
