That took long enough! After three weeks of intense swimming I am finally done. I spent those three weeks in a swim instructor course that is said to total 35 miles worth of swimming. I have lost about 7 pounds and now have to work hard to get it back. On the upside my back is alot more defined then ever before. I can’t wait to hit the gym again and get some of that weight back.

Thanks to the grand ole Marine Corp I have to change my workout routine once again. I have been trying to gain weight with focus on heavy weight training. Now I have had to do the complete opposite and do LARGE amounts of cardio. I am now going to a school to become a Marine Corp swim instructor. I have been swimming on average around 3000 meters a day. I have already dropped about 5 pounds since I have not been able to do weight training as much. Hopefully I can regain my weight once this is over with. It is just frustrating, months of work wasted.

Well I have finally given in. If you have not noticed I was born with a skeletal disorder called Pectus Excavatum or sunken chest. For the most part it has never bothered me. When I was younger my parents brought me in to see about having fixed. However, thanks to Military doctors they refused the surgery saying it was to invasive and I would have to see a specialist. Basically they said “We don’t want to pay for it”. Well as I have gotten older my lungs have gotten larger and now my chest is crushing them making it hard to breath during any physical activity. I have been able to ignore it for the most part. At the most it just takes me awhile to catch m breath. Now when I am in the gym I have been getting light headed. At first I thought it was my breathing technique. Then I went off the NO-Explode but that did nothing either. I am also a Marine and have to run a lot. My run time has dropped quite a bit and sometimes it takes me almost an hour or two to catch my breath. So today I am going in for X-rays and hopefully the doctors can give me some idea of what is going on. Hopefully!

So after about two weeks of trying I finally got a muscle up. Now that I got the form down for the most part I am able to do about two. Hopefully within a month I can do 10 or more. If you don’t know what a muscle up is check this out.

So, I spent 7 months in Iraq at the same weight and nothing much changing. I stopped lifting and lost some weight. I got down to 141 and got pissed. So, recently I started up again. I have been lifting for a solid month and I am 155 now!! What is with that. I work out for 7 months and stayed at 150 now in one month I am 155. I don’t know what I am doing different but I like it!!!!
