This week I went to visit a friend who had a bowflex, and I’m thinking "sweet a bowflex, this will be hard, challenging and fun", WRONG. I put all the resistance on there just to see if I could do it, I think is said it was like 350lbs, but it was easy as hell. I know what 350lbs feels like on the bench and this thing did not compare, the resistance wasn’t even continuous. And to top it all off my buddy told me he paid like $2,000 for it. (WOW) Maybe it was the version he had cause I’ve seen like twenty different types I hope that they all are not like that. On the flip side I can see how this machine might work for someone just beginning but if you’re serious about lifting and power then you may be disappointed

Okay, this one goes out to everybody on this site. From the most muscular to the flabiest, and if you’re the guy that wieghs 150 and wants to gain weight or the girl that wieghs 230 and wants to loose weight. PLEASE PLEASE don’t loose your drive and don’t loose sight of you goal. We all (well I can only really speak for myself) have joined this site because it is a source of inspiration in a world where people like us, (the driven and hopeful) are classified as cocky or dreamers. Because I want to compete and prefer to be addicted to the gym instead of the club or drugs than there must be something wrong with me, right? WRONG. I am fine the way I am and I love working toward my goals through sweat and hard-work. I enjoy posting my pics on this site of my developement and seeing my muscle and definition grow. The way I see it is that whether or not they love us or hate us its all motivation to me. When my fellow gym rats root me on is basically the same feeling I get when someone at work or school calls me a muscle head or comes by the bodyspace site and says that I must be arrogant. Whatever, I bet every guy that looks at people like me or you whether you have or have not attained your goal most of them are jealous. Jealous because you are doing what they can only eream of doing, to them you are the picture in their favorite magazine that they invy over. To them your newly found confidence and growing self-esteem is suffacating. So to anybody that has taken time out to here me b!*$hing on this post just remember that no matter if its positive or negative you are doing something right because if you weren’t the you wouldn’t have their attention.
Much love on your goals, until next time jameschaseolive…………’ out.

I have been lifting really heavy lately and I am certainly paying for it. I normally don’t get sore but lately I have been getting a little stiff. All in all the pain aside the gain is well worth it. Normally this is the point where I’d get lazy and go back to lite-lifting as I call it, but visiting this site and seeing all the people on this site and how driven they (you) all are is like fuel to me. Visiting this site is like a pep talk from a coach or talking with a friend who wants you to succeed. I have been working out along time for alot of different reasons but I have never had anything to keep me loyal to my workout or myself but NOW, thaks to this site I think I can really keep my drive. Not only that but its a positive site that I am always excited to check and add a few inspiring works to anybody chasing a goal. So form the bottom of my heart thank you "bodyspace" you rock, but not as hard as the bodyspace members world wide.
