BSN’s Fight Stack - a review by a joe smoe…

Hello everyone-

Im just a regular guy, who happens to be unhappy with his body. I am a network engineer from Michigan, I work 50 to 60 hours per week and as some people know, network engineers are ALWAYS training for something new.

I left high school at 223lbs. Played football, wrestled. I left college 244lbs. 4 years later, I weighed 304 lbs. WTF!! it just went by so fast… I worked, ate, worked ate, and occasionally slept. I started having migraines and getting sick all the time. Finally I hit bottom when I went to the beach in June 2008, and couldnt make myself take my shirt off. I was embarrased as hell that all these fine women were around, and I looked like a big brown turd. I mean seriously… wtf.

So I decided to do something about it. I had always been naturally strong, so when I started at the gym, I could bench 225, 5 times max. My knees sucked balls, and my arms looked like hamhocks.

Fast forward 90 days to middle of september: Ive lost 24lbs, gained alot of strength (benching about 250 x5.) So now I wanted to find something that could push me.. something to fuel me.

I purchased BSN’s "Fight Stack", and this blog focuses on my 12 week cycle of this stack. I wont bullshit you, and I sure as hell wont market for someone I dont beleive in. So search google, find the bullshit reviews by pros or paid advertisers, or read this and help me push myself.

June 2008 November 2008

8:30am breakfast + 2 Axis-HT

9:30am Protein Shake

11:30am - 3 Nitrix Tablets

12:30pm - Lunch with 2 Axis HT

2:30pm - protein shake or bar or small snack like cottage cheese

4:00/4:30pm - 3 Nitrix Tablets

5:30 - Dinner with 2 Axis-HT

Sounds like a plan, but I recomend cardio much more than two days at least four if you want to reveal your abs and lose fat. Cardio first thing early in the morning on an empty stomach is the way to do it. I know youre a busy man, but anything less than that wont reveal your abs. Good Luck!

OK I’m buying in. I want to see if this BSN stack is worth the price of admissions. Plus being a network engineer myself I know you plight.

rasta fitness say "who da bumbaclod making BSN rich while da poor man get huge on dietary protein and HIIT cardio?" Gunna20 is dead on.

    Peace.

I think I was misunderstood when I said cardio only on Sat and Sunday.

I do 30 min of cardio everyday, but I mix it up. Ill start my workout with 10 minutes warmup, workout for 1 hour with weights, then cardio for 20 to cap it off.
Sat and Sunday is no weights at all.. just pure cardio.

    :)

Man, read your story and feel like i’m in the same boat. I see yor plan, but when do you work out? (time of the day) and what do you do between workouts? Keep it up, homie!

im looking into this stack, how has your progress been since you started?

  9. Aj Says:

    Hello brother,

You seem to be on the right track. We have similiar goals. My wt is 225 but I’m trying to cut body fat whilesimutaneously build muscle. My goal weight is 200-205. Oh yeah, despite what you read, cardio up to 45 min/day is fine. I too, woud like to be able follow your results. I’m a fan of the BSN line of products but over the yrs., I’ve had the best results when I mixed it up after a certain amount of time. Like anything, your body becomes immune and here come the plateaus. Stay focused and best of luck to you! Aj

Good job man. Reading your post is inspiring. I used to be a 300+ guy too but now I’m down to 220. I always tell myself to get up at 6 a.m. to work out before class and work but I seem to hit the snooze. But good luck with you goals. And congratulations on all the ones you have met.

  11. ultimateme Says:

Congrats on your journey! Go Hard or Go Home, that’s the only way!
