Dislocated my hip in Nov 2006
I partially dislocated my right hip about 1 wk after Thanksgiving 2006. Wow! Have never felt that intensity of pain before. When the hip popped back into the socket I had pulled the muscles and ligaments in my right thigh. Had to lay in bed for 1 week with ice on my leg. 2nd week still could not walk up steps with the right leg. It took about 1 month to be able to walk steps. Had to stop squating all together and reduce my leg workout weights to 50%. Man was I bummed because I was already doing 360# on the leg press for 10 reps on my 4th set of my 5th excercise of my leg workout. So I just doubled my reps, to about 30 and started to really get cut. Just about 1 month ago did I start to squat again. It was a bit awkward at first but I am coming along nicely. Did 450# on the leg press last week. Yeah!!!!!!!!!
