Comp Day - 2009 NPC Natural Michigan Bodybuilding
Well, as of comp morning there is no doubt that I will be competing in the Open Middleweight class not the Open Lightweight class like at the NPC Novice Michigan. All I can say is that we shall see how I do. I’ll update this blog after both pre-judging and the night show (after enjoying some food).
PRE-JUDGING UPDATE
I ended up in the Middleweight class weighing 159 lbs. I believe their were 15 competitors and I predict I’ll place 15th. Even with this placing, I must say that the competitors here in Michigan are great! Everyone is friendly and will to help you get ready for the show. BTW, I competed with bear1 and n8nestor from the Detroit Iron Blastin’ BodyGroup. These two great fellows will place top 7 for sure. Well, it’s time to relax for now but I will be back at the theater at 6PM for the evening show/posing routine portion. EVENING SHOW & PLACING
I had a lot of fun at the evening show and the after party with friends at Red Robin - Novi. I placed 11th out of 15 so for next season my goals are to be extremely ripped & shredded while adding additional lean mass to come in at the top end of the middleweight class.

My next comp will be the 2010 NPC Novice Michigan.

Thanks for the kind words Jeff!!! It was great to finally meet you!! That was a tough division and I was completely thrown off by my placing. I really thought I would have been in the bottom of the group. Keep your head up, next season will be here before we know it!!!

Comp must have been outstanding! I know you were a little disappointed with 11th, but you thought you were at the bottom, so with the comp so tough it was probably an encouragement for 2010. Keep in touch..

Good deal, you look great! Middleweight’s one of the toughest classes in my opinion. A lot of very good competitors go through that. I think though come your next show you’ll have made some fantastic improvements! Your body will love the rest time, too. Keep the diet clean and ramp up the calories so you can get the most out of your anabolic rebound now to kick start the new gains!

Good job brother!!!! I think your was just a case of holding some water. Your muscles looked great and you can see the conditioning is there you just didn’t look quite as tight as a few weeks before.
Dam fine job! Can’t wait to see what you bring out next year!
