I’m not a gamer really, aside from wrestling & UFC fighting on the PS2 against my 9 year old & hubby. Oh, and fighting on the Wii… (Yes in case you hadn’t noticed, I’m huge into physical combat of sorts!) Anyways, my point is I hardly spend time on games, so it really surprised me to find the whole Mafia Wars thing so much fun! I’m totally diggin’ the way it plays out, especially when someone tries robbing me & ends up dumping a whole loadful of cash in my wallet! Since I know I’ll get comments on how this blog isn’t fitness based, let me remind you it’s called jaceeritie’s bodyblog for a reason… As such, I can write about anything I want, provided it’s not vulgar or obscene… Any takers on friends? Just send me a friend request & I’ll approve! Thanks so much!

I haven’t been blogging about my Hydroxycut progress lately because frankly, there hasn’t been any! I’ve had a lot of crap happening around here & unfortunately, it’s taken priority over my workouts. Well, I’m sick of looking in the mirror & seeing the fatty & lacking that sexy feeling! For me, if I don’t work out, it affects not only my mood, but also my sex drive & that’s not something I appreciate! Nor my hubby for that matter! Anyways, starting yesterday, I’m back at it in a big way. (Referring to the workouts here not the sex, wait, maybe the sex too! Whoo-hoo!) I’m anxious to make dramatic changes in my physique & willng to work hard to see it! Speaking of, I need to get off here & go jump on the treadmill. (Why am I taking everything I write in a sexual tone? You too ha?) Lol, have a great day everyone!

I absalutely knew he would too! During the smack talk, BJ Penn wouldn’t stop running his mouth about how he was going to kill GSP & how he had the mental edge… Even making fun of him having to workout in sub degree weather. *snorts* Yeah right, shut your big mouth for once & take a look at your competition Buddy! While your bragging yourself up, he’s in the gym working with the best in the business… I thought it was funny that Penn claims to have never been taken down by anybody, but GSP completely dominated him from the beginning, taking him down what 3-4 times? Sucks to have to eat your own words….
OK, for all you Penn fans out there, sorry if my blog offends your sensitive loyalties. I know he probably (?) worked hard for this match, but obviously not hard enough. Yes, he could kick my ass, but then again I’m not a fighter. I paid $45 to watch, therefor, I’m entitled to my own opinion. If you want to hate on me, go write your own damn blog! Face it, GSP rules!

This morning I took my weight & measurements for my Hydroxycut transformation. I’m going to blog about my workouts & clean eats as often as possible. I know it’s a contest, but if I can help someone out along the way, then that’s all the better!
So anyways, I did 3 miles on the treadmill, jogging one of them & walking another on a steep incline. I felt dizzy when I got off, so I know I burned some fat! Then I hit my glutes pretty hard, but not quite as hard as I wanted… I was just to distracted & busy being pissed at some circumstances to finish up… I ate clean all day & took all my vitamins & minerals, plus drank a ton of water. I feel pretty good about my first day of major progress! Wish me luck!

A couple days ago my hubby & I rescued a couple of adult Boxers that were in a bad situation. He got the male, I got the female. We’re each responsible for the care & exercise of our own dog. Because our weather here in Minnesota is arctic, outdoor activities are extremely limited, especially for the thin-coated Boxers. So today, I decided to take my girl Tatiana downstairs & get her used to the treadmill. At first she didn’t even want to get on, but I eventually coaxed her up & turned it on. She freaked over the noise of the motor & quickly jumped off. I put her back on & held onto the leash. I laughed out loud when she fell down & slid off the back. Back on she went & I turned it on again. This time you could about see the amazement that registered on her face as it looked like she was saying "AWESOME, THIS INVENTION IS COOL"! She got the idea just like that & set the pace at about 3 1/2 mph. She slid off one more time in her inexperience, but hopped right back up on her own. It was so neat to see her releasing her pent-up energy & enjoying this new source of freedom, which she never experienced in her previous life. I think I might have a new workout partner now! Haha, I love dogs!

Hurt my back over the holidays & have been taking it easy lately as it heals. Feel incredibly guilty over the lapse, but know my body is demanding a rest from my grueling workout sessions. I intend on making 2009 a huge success with my life, starting tomorrow! Wishing you all a safe & happy New Years!

I had the best shock of my life! I logged in tonight & see a congrats on my comments. I’m thinking it’s over the book I’m in the process of getting signed with a publisher but double check just for the sheer heck of it. What do ya know, I see my name listed 2nd in the model search there in the forums! I literally wipe my eyes & check again. I can’t believe it, I’m seriously in the running for sure now! OMG, I start jumping up & down, screaming & bawling at the same time! My kids come running over & after I tell, they join me in my ridiculous but heart-felt dance. I call my hubby & sis up, blabbering the great news to both! I am so happy, & even though I know I still have to get past round 4 to make it into the finals, I’m still so thrilled & honored to have made it this far! So thanks to all you fellow body-spacers & administration for giving me this unique & rare opportunity for the chance to represent BodyBuilding.com! You guys & gals rock!

So today I had to run into town to pick up eggs for our cookie baking session with the kids for their school bake sale. While I was getting ready, I quick decided to try on my new pair of jeans I’d boughten 2 sizes to small. What do ya know, they fit! Mind you, they were snug across the hiney, but in a good way (I think?). Should off my hamstrings for sure which I’m proud of, so I wore them into town. I got some looks but don’t know if it was the jeans or my new hair color. Black tends to garner attention on a 6 foot woman apparently… I’ll post a progress pic of me in the jeans in the near future. Anyways, I thought it was cool & decided to share. I’m really happy about the pounds lost even though my scale doesn’t want to budge…

I’m so proud of myself! I ate a huge bag of baby spinach within 2 days. First time it’s went that fast, but I used it in my egg omlettes for breakfast, side salad at lunch & again for supper. I’ve even went so far as to just munching on them in replacement of my chip cravings. (Not the same crunchy texture, but it helped nontheless!) Now, if only I could figure out a good way to consume more asparagus spears…
