Day One Of Transformation…

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

This morning I took my weight & measurements for my Hydroxycut transformation. I’m going to blog about my workouts & clean eats as often as possible. I know it’s a contest, but if I can help someone out along the way, then that’s all the better!

So anyways, I did 3 miles on the treadmill, jogging one of them & walking another on a steep incline. I felt dizzy when I got off, so I know I burned some fat! Then I hit my glutes pretty hard, but not quite as hard as I wanted… I was just to distracted & busy being pissed at some circumstances to finish up… I ate clean all day & took all my vitamins & minerals, plus drank a ton of water. I feel pretty good about my first day of major progress! Wish me luck!

My Just Taught My Boxer To Use The Treadmill!

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

A couple days ago my hubby & I rescued a couple of adult Boxers that were in a bad situation. He got the male, I got the female. We’re each responsible for the care & exercise of our own dog. Because our weather here in Minnesota is arctic, outdoor activities are extremely limited, especially for the thin-coated Boxers. So today, I decided to take my girl Tatiana downstairs & get her used to the treadmill. At first she didn’t even want to get on, but I eventually  coaxed her up & turned it on. She freaked over the noise of the motor & quickly jumped off. I put her back on & held onto the leash. I laughed out loud when she fell down & slid off the back. Back on she went & I turned it on again. This time you could about see the amazement that registered on her face as it looked like she was saying "AWESOME, THIS INVENTION IS COOL"! She got the idea just like that & set the pace at about 3 1/2 mph. She slid off one more time in her inexperience, but hopped right back up on her own. It was so neat to see her releasing her pent-up energy & enjoying this new source of freedom, which she never experienced in her previous life. I think I might have a new workout partner now! Haha, I love dogs!
