Cute jeans to be my weight-loss goal…

So the other day I bought two really cute pairs of jeans. One being the size I wear right now & the other being two sizes too small. I’m going to use that one for motivation & each week try it on until it fits beautifully. I’ll then take a sexy pic (thinkin’ a full length & bare back kind.) & post it. I’ll take another when they get baggy on me and use it for comparison purposes. I’d like to continue this cycle until I get my body fat where I want it… Wish me luck!

Time Management…

So yesterday, I took the time to sit down and write out my day to day schedule in my daily planner. Now normally, I’m not the kind a girl that has to write down every single thing, but lately I’ve been having problems with time management, and everything suffers including my workouts. I’ve decided to map out everything, from the time I wake up, to the time I go to sleep. I covered times to drink my water, (always a chore for me cause I hate having to pee every 20 minutes!) take my vitamins, eat, exercise, work on my book & songs, clean house, spend time with the kids, (such as game nights, special projects or activities.) fix school lunches, return phone calls, etc. etc. You get the picture… I then made a copy and hung it up beside my workout schedule, daily menu plan & tear-out pics of inspirational people on our billboard next to the phone, thus making me feel responsible for carrying out my new plan. I felt good about it! I was more then ready for this change… So what happens the day I begin my new course of action? I unintentionally turn off my alarm clock, roll over and go back to sleep, making my kids late for the bus! Too bad I didn’t have a have a remedy for that one!

I need an answer to this.

Whenever I workout my arms really hard, I get nerves that go crazy in my upper delts. It’s disturbing to see my muscles twitching for a couple days (though my kids love watching it!) and am wondering what might be causing this? I take liquid minerals so it would seem odd if it were a deficiency… Any ideas or clues? Let me know!

Loss of Focus…

It’s hard to remain 100% focused at all times, especially when it comes to ‘that time of month’. Hormones kick in, the headaches begin and pretty soon attention & energy wane. The comfy couch beckons with insurmountable logic. Surely a couple days off wouldn’t hurt one’s progress… Well believe it or not, I’ve actually learned to listen to my body, not just to what the ‘experts’ say. If I’m feeling totally lousy with PMS, I’ll take a day or two off. I’ll let my body go through the natural process and regain my strength and ambition, but only as long as I’m truely needing it! (If I’m feeling pretty good, I’ll go down and kick serious butt!) Some months are definitely worse than others; if I do take a couple days off,  I almost always come back with more determination and focus then ever! Too me, it’s worth it…
