So yesterday, I took the time to sit down and write out my day to day schedule in my daily planner. Now normally, I’m not the kind a girl that has to write down every single thing, but lately I’ve been having problems with time management, and everything suffers including my workouts. I’ve decided to map out everything, from the time I wake up, to the time I go to sleep. I covered times to drink my water, (always a chore for me cause I hate having to pee every 20 minutes!) take my vitamins, eat, exercise, work on my book & songs, clean house, spend time with the kids, (such as game nights, special projects or activities.) fix school lunches, return phone calls, etc. etc. You get the picture… I then made a copy and hung it up beside my workout schedule, daily menu plan & tear-out pics of inspirational people on our billboard next to the phone, thus making me feel responsible for carrying out my new plan. I felt good about it! I was more then ready for this change… So what happens the day I begin my new course of action? I unintentionally turn off my alarm clock, roll over and go back to sleep, making my kids late for the bus! Too bad I didn’t have a have a remedy for that one!
