So lately I haven’t been on here to much, but I did want to let friends & fans know I’m doing OK. I just signed back up at a gym & been hitting my workouts pretty regularily about 10:30 every night after I get off work. I love seeing the results I’m getting & will post more progress pics as I look better & better. Hope all is well with everyone & plan on checking in again soon. Take care & go work out PRONTO!

Relax, I only snuck out of fencing to check in. Let me tell ya, carrying those metal livestock gates give your arms on hell’ova workout too! My trusty truck driver didn’t show up to help me load the panels in the back of his truck & I had to catch & medicate my wild filly today. (She likes to run away like her sneaky mother, even though the rest of my horses are constantly nibbling at my pockets to get the goodies out.) So what did I do? I hauled 8 of them by hand for an aproximate combined distance of one mile. Yes, it wiped me out but I did it with a smile on my face cause I could feel & see my muscles just pumped to beat heck! I love physical activities that build muscle, burn fat & expend energy and this does all that rather quickly! I believe in varying workouts to shock the muscles into new growth and I think I just found a new way of doing that. Anyways, I better get back out there with a bucket of grain and trick the girls into the new holding pen. If you have a few ideas of your own - do share!

I’m trying to become a successful fitness competitor & model. I know this involves showing quite a bit of skin & I’m fine with it, but quite a few of my friends & family think that by doing this, I am becoming shallow & vain. Frankly, it pisses me off that they can’t look past the exterior aspect of this. People exercise all the time for health benefits & I never hear people giving them crap. Why is it that when your doing it to advance your career, your suddenly playboy material. (Bad in my family - but good for the checkbook - haha…) Anyone else deal with this? Thoughts, suggestions?

I’ve reached a real low point in my life the few months and because of a bunch of crap happening in my life yet again, I’ve learned a lot of lessons. One is, no matter how deep the gully or how wide the river is, there is always dry land on the opposite side. This situation has taken up my ‘mojo’ so to speak. I let it steal my ambition and determination for working out & clean eating, only to gain it back again. I’d get ahead, only to fall behind. The affects are not always as I’d like, but the one thing I can appreciate is the human spirit to keep on keeping on, to never give up the fight, to climb another mountain one step at a time. With this in mind, I can push through this down period in my life and come out for the better, knowing that deep gullies & wide rivers can’t keep me down. Now, where did I put my dumbells?

Just my luck, the one diet pill I’ve been pretty intensely gets taken off the market for health hazards… Goll dang it, I’m done with them for good this time! Anything I accomplish with this body will be done 100% and completely my doing. No more putting my health in jeopardy with the latest diet pill fad.
Just a little update here: I won’t be competing in June afterall as I’ve had too many things thrown in my path. However the competitive plan is still underway, just delayed a little. My new goal is November & I’m back to working really hard on my physique. I’m happy with the changes happening & can’t wait to start sending in the comp cards to various magazines. I will continue to post my progress pics as I take them & can only hope they get better & better. For all who post on my site, I’m really sorry if I haven’t gotten back to you; I’ve just been so busy lately! I hope to log in more often so please continue writing messages & I promise to get better. Have a great day everyone!

So I have another hater leaving me unacceptable comments. Get this, he started handing out the negativity to at least one other woman besides myself, the VERY SAME DAY HE JOINED! And that’s just the ones I know about. Do people fail to read the headline when they sign up? This is BODYBUILDING.COM Folks. We’re here to better our bodies &/or help others better theirs, not make them feel like crap or give them body complexes just to hide our own insecurities! Believe me sjones, I know what I am & I know how I look. Your idiotic simpleton words have nothing on me, I don’t need your approval to know I look good! Let the hater’s hate, meanwhile us genuine bodybuilders are working out giving the hater’s even more of a reason to hate… You poor MF’s!

Anyone else have the problem of making bad food choices of skipping workouts when around their spouse or loved one? I seem to lack the motivation & drive when I’m around my hubby & end up gaining weight. When he’s gone again, I’m like totally on it & see huge results in a very short time! I guess I just have a hard time saying no to the mac-n-cheese, chocolate ice cream or Mountain Dews. Don’t get me wrong, I still eat my staples of oatmeal, chicken breasts, spinach, sweet potatos & supplements, but the temptation to have just a few bites is really strong… Yes, I’ve got pictures plastered to my fridge & asked for junk food to be removed from the house, but for one reason or another, it never is 100%. What do you do? How do you keep from cheating?

I’m not a gamer really, aside from wrestling & UFC fighting on the PS2 against my 9 year old & hubby. Oh, and fighting on the Wii… (Yes in case you hadn’t noticed, I’m huge into physical combat of sorts!) Anyways, my point is I hardly spend time on games, so it really surprised me to find the whole Mafia Wars thing so much fun! I’m totally diggin’ the way it plays out, especially when someone tries robbing me & ends up dumping a whole loadful of cash in my wallet! Since I know I’ll get comments on how this blog isn’t fitness based, let me remind you it’s called jaceeritie’s bodyblog for a reason… As such, I can write about anything I want, provided it’s not vulgar or obscene… Any takers on friends? Just send me a friend request & I’ll approve! Thanks so much!
