I just want everyone to know that I have my first show at the end of August in Florida and I am trying to get into a show sometime in May (also in florida) and for some reason it freaked me out and I feel like I am having a heart attack just thinking about it got me all nervous but excited because I am going to look the best I ever have!! I met a Pro on Saturday his name is Bill Wilmore and I mean I’ve met other Pros (not knowing because I wasn’t into this at the time)I went to the Arnold about 6 years ago and met Arnold and the hulk man (lol) i know them of course and i saw all these really tanned women with buff bodies and I didnt realize at was at one of the greatest events ever! (i did Judo then and i was competing for that) Well, getting back to Bill when I saw him I was so excited because I could talk to him about what I dream of ( I was at the Miami Marathon Expo and most of the people there are just runners) and his last show was MR. OLYMPIA back in October and I was so amazed (HE SO BIG AND HE’S MET JAMIE EASON MY IDOL!!! lol) and he’s going to the Arnold in Feb- March (not to compete) but I was just so happy and I’m begging my boyfriend to take us to the Arnold too and Im just siked!! I CANT WAIT!! WISH ME LUCK!!
p.s. anyone that has done a show before PLEASE (im begging you) stop by and drop me a comment or advice, id be so grateful!! =) THANKS!!

This whole week has been great! I ve been doing extremely well with my workouts and my diet and my hydration (which used to be horrible) and Im seeing improvement– which of course helps my motivation!!! Since my week was great I didnt want to spoil in on the weekend but I was craving pizza! Out here in Miami we have a place called Power Pizza which is amazing! They make healthy pizza!!! I’ve always made my own but hell sometimes you dont wannt make your own food! So between my boyfriend and I we ordered 2 large pizzas and grilled chicken wings!! WOOT WOOT! The wings were delicious and the pizza (made with whole wheat and packed with protein and low fat mozarella and their all natural sauce) was amazing too!! Usually I’ll only eat a couple of slices– 3 at most and I never eat wings because no matter how mild they are to me they are spicy!! BUt something happened (maybe Im getting close to getting my monthly visit from a friend that isnt such a great friend after all) but I had almost a whole box and seven of the 15 wings (if it wasnt because I was sharing I would have ate more!) Thankfully it was all on the healthy side but still I stuffed!! Then about 3 hours later I went to eat ice cream BUT it was healthy ice cream!! lol. I think about how unhealthy America is but you can always find places that will help you and give you alternatives its a given they dont taste as great as a regular pizza from papa johns with the works but it comes pretty damn close and after you eat it, you dont feel bad!! Which I KNOW i a great feeling to have.

Is it sad to say I havent worked out in a month? Well, it is. I was doing really well. I havent updated pictures because I just havent bothered to take any. I was doing very well. I was doing GREAT! Then I decided I had waited long enough. I had a baby about 2 years ago and before her I had amazing breast (not to brag, I was only 19). During the course of my pregnancy I had even more amazing breast but of course some things are to goo to be true or dont last very long. 6 months after I had my daughter my beautiful full breast decided to unfill, or as I say "she sucked the life outta them" So i had been contemplating to get a breast enhancement especially since I lost an additional 15lbs post pregnancy ontop of my pre pregnancy weight. So i was left with some work needing to be done. So two years and several doctor consultations later I got up one morning and said "alright, its time" and so I did. and I havent been able to run or jump or lift weights for two weeks. Week three I returned to the gym to walk on a treadmill and I really despised it! Then I upped it some, elliptical, steppers, climber, etc. and lets do some legs. It is now week four and Ive been doing the same, more legs but thats it! What about my upper body. I’m afraid to even wave goodbye. You know what Im talking about ladies. So today I did a little bit of biceps and triceps with an 8lb dumbell and I felt like a dumbell. This is absolutely horrible. Like torture. Not to mention Im suppose to be training for a marathon at the end of January. I cant even go over a speed bump in my car with out holding on to my boobs!! Its quite depressing but I know in a few months not too long I hope I will be back on track and I’ll be posting pictures. Thanks for reading who ever you are.

Since Mother’s day (up until 2 weeks ago) I kinda side tracked from my diet AND exercise. Completely actually. I continued to run and bike but my diet no so much. I guess you can say I kinda hit a wall. Then I began to feel sluggish and I just couldnt take it anymore, plus I couldnt get all my days work done. Lets not even talk about training– what a drag! Luckily, my new issue of Oxygen came to my mailbox–my life saver! The past two weeks have been intense. Im back on track, and Im amazed that I am back to where I was in such little time and my diet– you can almost say its after a cycle in the dishwasher "SPOTLESS". Ive decided to incorporate an additional 30 mins of cardio in every weight training session and I am seeing amazing results. I was initially going to spend less time in the gym but I feel like Im on a high and decided to compete. I am still not at that phase yet but I hope to be there by next year. As for triathlons, they will be taking a backseat but not out of th picture. There are 3 coming up in a row (june, jul, august) but not so sure of those (sprints) but there is one in Novemeber (international) that I am definately in so I’ll have plenty of time. Well, all in all, its good to be back!

alright, so I began my triathlon training Wednesday. Wednesday I ran 4 miles, yesterday I ran 2 and today I ran 3. Tomorrow is a long run– 16 miler, than a 30 min swim which is just about a 1/2 mile swim– Just thinking about it makes me shiver. I’ll be laying off the weights a little, I’ll be lifting lighter. I dont have much time for both so I’ll be dedicating most of my time to swimming, biking and running; although, biking is my least favorite. My goal is to break 1:10– I’ll keep you posted. ;o)

It was only a few days ago I was feeling so good about myself and receiving great encouragement and motivation from so many of you but for some reason today… I feel like crap. I had a great run this morning 4 miles in 31 mins, so just under an 8 min mile pace– I am trying to cut to a flat out 7 minute mile but right now its not happening. I feel sluggish and really there is no motivation what so ever in my system as we speak. I feel like going to Krispy Kreme and downing a couple donuts with ice cold milk (but only skim not because its good I just dont like the whole milk taste) but before that a nice juicy skirt steak w/ some rice and corn– and a big salad. Some Argentine restaurant sounds good or maybe I’ll degrade… some IHOP a country Omelete w/ pancakes. Oyy… If only it was as easy as going to sleep and waiting for tomorrow, maybe Id feel better. I have a 20 month old that makes that difficult.

I had decided to start really focusing on my nutrition and workout 6 weeks ago. I gave my myself a 3 months period (12 week) to see some results. I am half way there. I wasnt out of shape to begin with but I knew I could be better. I am a triathlete and a marathoner so not only to improve my performance but I just wanted a better over all physique. I began to hit the weights harder because cardio was there already– more then enough. About 20 miles a week on average is my milage for running. I was on my off season so I wasnt busting my ass on the swim and bike. Last week I began training for the Triathlon season, did my first swim and felt pretty good about it. I have seen changes in my body and I feel healthier as well. I have another 6 weeks for improvement, however, I wont stop there I will continue with this "new and improved" lifestyle that I had been putting off.
