Training has been on hold but, I have done more then my share of hard physical labor. I have been working 11-12 hour days in the rail yeard the last 2 days followed by VX (vehicle Extrication) courses and anyone knows who does this knows the tools are heavy as heck and you have to hold them for extended periods of time. Also I am taking a dance class for Rumba and Jive so that's fun and gives you a bit of a work out. The last 2 days I have been up at 330 4 and to work by 530 and I ahven't been home till 10 at night. The walking alone when working in the rail yard coupled by walking on uneven ballast all day is probably equivalent of running more than a half marathon. I figure I probably walked around 15 miles in the last 2 days. I am stiff and sore everywhere and I'm so glad right now that it's Friday YAY. 1 day off then I get to go in for an OT shift on Sunday and then Back to work!!
My eating hasn't been the best I have been eating really bad gluten free treats OH DEAR and feeling bad about it, I am human though and probably with all the walking and ladder climbing, switch throwing, I probably lost weight even though I ate crap. I have't drank enough water though and I know I am dehydrated cause I am really congested. I have my water bottle sitting here beside me and I hope to get in at least 1 gallon of water today at work maybe more. I will probbaly spend more time in the bathroom than working but hey, he he why not!!!
So how is everyone else. I'm not too sure what I am doing for a work out today. I might take today off not too sure yet. I would like to have a run that's for sure just not too sure if I have time or motivation to do it.
