I totally know what yer saying.... I don't do it that much myself (I've been lifting for about 12yrs now n don't really give a **** what people think), but my workout partner is notorious for it. I'm a little stronger than he is, so he always try to do what I'm doing, and his form is terrible! "Pride cometh before a fall" the Lord said... he's getting better about it, though. All I can say is we got to focus on ourselves when we lift... after all, don't we do it to feel good about ourSELF??? Happy lifting, bro

When I was in the military I would use the treadmill. My best time was 10;30 2 mile.

Find your speed you can run the full 1.5 mile. Then when you feel like you can...about every week or so increase the speed and incline slightly. do this for a few weeks or months and you will see a difference. Good luck!

You could try L-Glutamine. It helps with muscle soreness and that also comes from a build up of lactic acid.

What kind of training are you doing to prep for the PRT? You should atleast a month out start running/jogging to get your legs used to moving. I ran mine in 10:04 two weeks ago. Kinda upset didn't get under 10:00. Anyhow I atleast think you need to get to where you and jog the whole thing. Keep a pace of two minute qtr mile and you'll pass. Is this going to be your 3rd strike? Right now I do cardio on a treadmill for about 65 minutes. From My understandings if you do sprints it well help you be faster. Howeer your calf problem is something I have never delt with.
