I am going crazy (literally) not weight training. I fractured my rib a week ago taking my dog on a bike ride (grrrr). Doc says I can begin weight training in two more weeks. Problem is I am feeling very fat and out of my routine! I need suggestions as to what diet I should be on for the next couple of weeks since I am not burning the calories I usually do daily (1.5-2 hr workouts)

Oh geeze, I entered the transformation contest!! Doesnt get anymore motivating than that. I hope that I will achieve my goals once and for all! I am nervous…haha

Was in hospital for 4 days. They ran a bunch of cardiovascular/neuro tests. Great news is no major problems. I have been poked, prodded, and still have one more heart test tomorrow but was told I was in perfect health! Yippee! Still don’t know where the 7 day headache came from but can’t wait to get back to the gym.

Home sick…dangit. If my headaches and nauseau are from not breathing properly while working out…take my advice…..BREATHE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lesson learned if thats the case. I am alone on New Years, nauseous and have a steady headache. GRRRRRRRRRRR…

Who has had a problem with exertion headaches while weight training? This is day two and it is crippling… It starts very fast and makes me nauseous the rest of teh day. Can anyone share any stories or how they got rid of them?

Ok..inches count, but come on already. I want to be able to tell people my weight but I cant at 140. What the heck! Oh well… I can only keep doing my best. I look tighter, dropped a jean size and I should be happy. Why is that darn little white scale making me so discouraged. I shouldn’t look but its too tempting. One day last year my husband threw it away after my obsessive rantings…maybe he should do it again..lol.

Got a juicer for Christmas! Juiced carrots, celery, spinach, and strawberries. The remaining vegetables mixed with 1 egg white 1 egg yolk, garlic salt, 1 tsp ff parm cheese and fried (pam spray) it as a veggie burger on the stovetop. Was healthy, filling, and tasted ok. It can obviously be modified a million ways but today was my first day using it so I thought I would share the experience. Yea juicer!

Trainer measured me today and she said I lost 17 inches in 4 weeks all over my body. Yeah! I hope she didn’t pull too hard on the tape measure or something.
