leg day

Leg day was today and it feels good tearing them up. Did a one legged leg press and that really made them burn. Did some deadlifts and finished it off with some walking lunges. I tell you what, they really get your heart rate going. Then I did some calf raises and finished off with ab work. When I was done with that, I did 25 minutes of cardio on the bike. Felt great all around this morning.  Yesterday was upper body and got a great pump. I do the body for life training program. It seems to work for me. It makes me sweat alot, but it aleast lets me know that I busted my ass while I was in there. Then finished it off with 30 minutes of cardio.

New goals set

March 28, 2008

Well I had my body fat tested for the competition my wife and I were in. I lost 2.3% and my wife lost 4.9% and won the womens division. I am at 12.4% and she is at 16.4% and looks great. I have set new goals that I want to hit before June and day one was today. I did upper body today with 30 minutes of cardio at the end. Tomorrow is leg and ab day. Woo hoo! can’t wait.

Cardio day

Good morning! This is my first blog. I woke up this morning at 5 and went to the gym. This is cardio day. Had a friend call me last night and asked if I was gonna workout today and I told him yes. Of course he didn’t show up. Anyway I did 45 minutes of cardio and some abs. I think I’m going to do abs 4 to 5 times a week. Those freakin love handles won’t go away, and I got this fat on my abs that is there. Well maybe I’m not being patient enough. Tomorrow is upper body day and I can’t wait. Probably won’t sleep much cause of anticipation. That has been the case much of the last few weeks. Till next time.
