95 days to go!!!!! I entered the INBF Mid-America ProAm show that is being held in Evansville, IN Aug 1, 2009! I have upped my intensity at the gym and it shows!

Here’s a link to info about the show FYI:

My legs have been lagging…they used to be the best part of my body until I severed my ACL playing football a couple years ago and there went that. I don’t do sqats because the pressure I feel in my knee. But I do incline leg press, deadlifts, lunges, and machine curls and extensions (light on ext. to keep pressure down on my knee). I used for work on my calves here and there until I noticed that they are lagging also! Now I make sure to do at least 2 different exercises for them as well.

With only 95 days to go, I realize that I need to start planning more, keeping more of a journal, especially for my diet. And I need to add more muscle to my arms and legs, especially my hams and calves. I feel that my biceps could use more volume. I started training all the muscle groups twice a week since last week to try and add more volume. But I have a hard time getting enough sleep lately because I am trying to squeeze in 36 hours into a 24 hour day. And I think that’s probably why my muscles may be lagging.

So, here is what I am doing as of now for training and diet: PLEASE feel free to post your opinions, help, suggestions, as I am open to all the help I can get!  :o )

Training

Monday - Back/Biceps

Tuesday - Chest/Triceps/Abs

Wednesday - Shoulders/Legs

Thur. - Sat: Repeat 1st 3 days

Sunday - Off

I’ll post details of the workouts later.

Diet/Supplements

Supplement wise, I use a creatine complex w/ glutamine about 45 min before my workout. I will also take glutamine again right after I workout with a protein shake.

I will have a protein shake 3-4 times a day and the rest of my protein will come from wither, chicken, fish, turkey, beef, or lactose-free milk. I do have high protein multigrain bread that I eat…sometimes with some peanut butter….mm mm so good!

I eat a lot of veggies, mixed, mostly california blend, spinach, sweet potatoes. Breakfats is my worst meal because I usually will work out in the morning at 5am. So I wake up about 4. And I’ll drink my preoworkout mix. I’ll have my protein shake afterwards with either and apple or banana. So I know I don’t eat enough in the morning. Any quick suggestions would be very helpful! I eat apples at least 2 times a day, that and bananas. I drink a little more that a gallon of water a day….mostly during my time at the gym.

 Posing Routine

I have already put together most of my routine. I have done a lot of watching other routines in the last few weeks. I’m doing all of this on my own. I can’t afford any help unless it is free because I am on a tight budget. I have my sng picked out. I am allowed 90 seconds and the clip is actually 89 seconds long so it is perfect.

Posing suit?

I was looking at the suits that bodybuilding.com sells and they are very reasonable compared may ither custom suits I’ve seen. I don’t need all the fancy gems and stuff on my suit. I was wondering if anyone else has purchased a suit from this site and how did it work out?

So that is it for now. I am going to start posting more progress pics each week starting with tomorrow. I am too tired tonight!

GREAT NEWS!!! I just started seeing my six pack this weekend!! And I’m not talking beer!!! I got so excited!! I’m getting there. I can’t wait until I start dieting down and seeing everything pop each week!

I wanted to personally thank each and everyone of you who has taken the time to read about me and my journey and especially thank all those who posted the very positive comments on my profile and pics. It has really helped me see that I made the right decision to become a bodybuilder. I absolutely love it…all of it! I hope to hear from you soon!

Remember..EVERYTHING worth having is worth working for!
