Update.
Thursday, July 24th, 2008Took the Army Physical Fitness Test yesterday morning and scored 220 out of 300. Not too bad considering I do waay more lifting than I do training for the test. For those of you not familiar, you do as many pushups as you can in 2 minutes (form is strict), same for situps, and then run 2 miles. Minimum to pass is 60 in each event. I did 55 pushups, 50 situps and ran 2 miles in 16:26. A solid passing score, but there is room for improvement. Next test will be in October and I am going to shoot for 60, 60, and 15:30 or better. This would score me in the neighborhood of a 248.
