Thats how I’ve been feeling lately. I could fill this whole page up with shit to bitch and complain about; actually had the page written and deleted it. Lucky you, I’m not. I have my trip to Miami in two weeks and i fell off the wagon the last two weekends, good ol southern food and lots of beer. Loved every second. Now I just need to get my head out my ass amd in gear. Have solid plan for the rest of the week and one key goal is to target my lower abs, they just suck. I’m good now. Now im off to the gym.

Has anyone done either of these routine’s? Im finishing up my 6 week plan today and am looking for a high speed/circuit routine or just an intense medium wieght/high rep workout. I came accross the 300 from Bodybuilding.com and the 500 one on google. Has anyone ever done either?

I’m on the last week of a 6 week program that i took from Muscle &n Fitness. THANK GOD!!!!!!! This one really sucked. I’ve never been less motivated to do a work out like I have been the last few weeks. It’s a low rep med/high wieght set then splits with sets of 12 at a lower weight and there is nothing fun, cool, new, whatever to keep me interested. The only reason i looked forward to this weeks is because its the LAST week. After this I’m gonna change it up for a few weeks, try some new things, makes some shit up. In the end I’m gonna be happy about what I’m doing and understand my accomplishemnts.

I’ve been making serious progress for the last three months, once i started eating cleaner. I’m seeing results in all the right places but the pictures that go in the progress pictures still suck. Like the two side ones, I swear it looks like I’ve never done a crunch in my life. I could just take the easy road and blame it on Laura because she took the picture,j/k. If I couldn’t look in the mirror and SEE what has changed and could only see what the photos showed I’d quit. But I know that all the cardio and lifting are paying off and with time I will see good pictures.

I got up yesterday like normal and tried to go run but my body refused. The whole Easter weekend had taken it’s toll. I had a great time and that means drinking a lot of beer and eating some damn good crawfish!! I really thought it would be harder to slip back into my old habits, boy was I wrong. But just doing the eliptical was like walking through sand and then trying to do abs was a joke.
Thankfully I got my act together for my afternoon workout, chest. It went pretty good; good weight and solid reps. After a good nights sleep I went back today and busted my ass to catch up on what I missed yesterday. I appreciate the way my body feels more now after putting it through the ringer. Now I just have to make this a good week.

So Laura asks me to do legs with her yesterday and I agreed because we like working out together. We are on totally different workouts so we compromised; she is doing circuits and I am on a steady pace slightly heavy lifting plan. She tweaked my workout into a circuit and I didn’t think ahead of time to adjust my weights. It was the most intense leg day I’ve ever done, I was sweating like I ran a marathon. She was trying to kill me, I know it. But after a gallon of water and a banana we were both satisfied with our work and I crawled into a hot-tub to recupperate.
Here is how she tweaked my schedule, everything is 4 sets of 12:
Part 1. Leg Curl/Leg Ext
Part 2. Squat/Good Mornings/Leg Press
Part 3. Adductor/abductor
Part 4. Calf Press/Standing Calf Raise

The wife and I went to dinner Sat night to some fancy place and I had to dress up. Since I’ve started cardi everymorning and really cleaned up my diet I have dropped 5 lbs. I can see it a little bit here and there but man when I got dressed I looked skinny. Frickin loved it; even Laura said I looked skinny. If I had any doubts about the results I was getting they were all removed. I can’t wait to keep going and to push myself harder.

I work at a desk all day so I try and drink a lot of water. Lately I have been drinking close to a gallon over the period of 1 day. Is that to much? I’m never hungry and thats good but I’m always heading to the restroom. Should I put a limit on how much I drink?

So I finally set some rules and boundaries for myself. First thing that I started was morning cardio because I got tired of getting home after 7 p.m. and still having to fix dinner. Now I’m on the second rule: No sweets during breakfast. I had made a habit of eating a brownie with my shake in the morning. I rationalized it by saying that I had all day to burn it off, whatever. Now these were not ordinary brownies, they were under cooked and had a small layer of chocolate icing followed by another layer of vanilla icing. God they are so good. But they are gone and now when I feel better about the morning cardio because I know that all that effort will not be used up at breakfast. The cool thing about all this is that I am really enjoying the new mind set and determination I am putting out. Even Laura has said she is proud of the new attitude and she’s noticing some differences.
