i trained in a VERY controlled fashion my lats/back. why? b/c i injured my rib/rib cage area —- from sneezing of all things!

i have a strain of sorts.

i did weigh in at 264 ! yeah! that is good!

i STILL had a good workout — but in the midst of it - i felt a twinge in my rib cage doing rows - and i stopped training the using rows, and went to lat pull downs. so we shall see how it goes.

my Browns won last evening - pre-season against the Titans! they STILL look bad. uugh. lol….

 i may have fractured a rib - from sneezing of all things! oh my!!!or at the least, i certainly strained the soft tissue in the rib cage area. it hurts like a ****ER!!!!

i am going to "try" to train today — pecs. i was going to do abs too, but i cannot constrict/flex the abdominal area due to pain in the region (i.e., rib injury)… but i can flex my pecs/chest…so i shall give it a try - and hope for not too much pain! hope….

 it is a REP RANGE Protocol Day today. i will be doing reps in the 15-20 range. getting a great pump…

todays is POWER protocol. i am training early on this morning, the delts and arms…..lets see were my weight is today…..i MUST drop down to a buff 250ish……..just getting back to t260 would be a rave achievement…yeah!

i KNOW i can DO IT!!

today is a a leg day…i am starting off late. uuughh. but i will still hit the iron! yeah!

i am training legs/glutes in POWER protocol — undertaking Negative Accentuated Reps. doing 6 secs on the negative stroke/downstroke of a rep. that really breaks down the muscle tissue!!

i STILL have to be careful concerning overtraining — getting lots of cramps or protecting my damaged / injured leg ————-but here i go!

yesterday,i trained pecs — after a week off to go to LAS VEGAS, NV!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really hit the town HARD too! wow!!

 i have begun (& nearly finished) reading Sly Stallone’s - "Sly Moves". it is his workout and diet training guide. it is "really" for the uninitiated, but there are some insights of interest. i am beyond the beginner status that the book is more geared too and for. but still some insight(s) do exist…

the pic that Stallone uses appears to be more of the "down" or "off" cycle of ‘roids. he appears less buff, less ripped, less STALLONE. he looks more "moral".

 today i am training Back/Lats. working on creating the illusion of a wider and wider back, and still gaining EVEN MORE thickness too! whew!!

i will concentrate on POWER Protocol today, along w/ a very slow cadence on the Negative of a stroke/rep. focus on NAs!

 

yesterday, i somehow still hit the scale at 271. i need to shed 20+/- lbs., to get down to the 250 or less range. and that is my goal! i want to get very buff! and leaner….

today is a SHOCK day — training my legs. i had skipped training legs last week b/c i had pronounced discomfort and some pain in my legs (knees primarily), and i did not wish to strain my limbs any further…

but now i am back to training my legs (something that cannot be neglected if / when i decide to take the "next step" in entering a Master’s Competition), and i will hit it w/ a mid range exercise, a stretch exercise, and a contracted exercise.

i will do Smith Squats, leg curls, leg ext, Stiff Legged Deadlifts and probably lunges too ( to really get the quads and glutes hit).

 

i will SHOCK my system, but jus the same, i must be certain to NOT to overdo it too.

i have to get my ASS into gear….i am training chest/pecs in SHOCK protocol. using Multi-Rest-Sets to get a pump and stimulate growth through prolonged tension on the muscle (over 20 secs. avg).. Plus i shocking the system. i will still keep my rep range fairly high (10-15 planned)….
