time for Revolution in terms of change/Periodization…
Wednesday, July 30th, 2008it is a time for change for me…. i have been slacking off greatly the past few weeks– i.e., vacation and jut mediocre workouts…
i ha ve been an ardent user of HIT philosphy for nearly 18 mos + or so. beyoned that, i have determinsied that it may be time of r me to shake things up, and go forth and go try an intensity ladden, but Vlume oriented worktou regiment… i am going to utilie some of Ronnie coleman’s thoughts and philoosphy on bodybuilding…i even whipped out hs very good book on the subject matter. and i am goin to use it…
all people are different, and different things seemingly work different for people (this is contrary to what mike mentzer thinks—mike is right about so many - but not all. LOL),,
i believe i NEED to shake things up! i am going to implement Variety…using many differnt exercises…i am going to try to impmllementt the idea that going to failure ion each exercise isnt’s as importnat as going to ful lmuslce fatigue in your workout (str8 from Ronnie)…i will also coitnually strive to get stronger…be a stickler for exdrcise form..i shall also be using a formate of 10-15 reps per set (ideally)..
i PROBABLY shall be utilizling many of t Weider Bodybuilding Technigues of training to help in crease muscle mass, density, and drop bodyfat too! [i am ambitious w/ my goals]
some of my favorite Weider principles are: training to failure; cheteating; forced reps/xreps/burns; dececending sets; rest pause training; muscle confusion; continuous tension.
bodybuiling is about quality, not quantity — so even if i am doing VOLUME trainig now (for the time beinig), iti s not the en"end all"

it iwll be a HUGE departure for me in temrs of traning philosphy… i will have to RETHINK EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING!!
and to shake things up even further– i shall use a mizter uf techniques to shake up my levels of intneisty too…
i will still use XREPS — likely on the last set, or last two setts…
i iwll do some sets w/ only Xreps too. to really shake things up!
so i am really in the mode of expermimenting here. and i will keep detailed logs on m y training and my progress. (i shall wieght myself after my workout– i fear i may be at 240 - or even more!!..
i wnated to lean down to 230! idealiy!1
