i really, really worked the muscles today. up the rep scheme today - trying to keep it in the 15-20 range really got me "pumped", further, i felt exhausted at the end… it was grueling…
but again, i am dedicated to the achievement of my goals..

well, in pursuit of my goal(s) - basically to be much more vascular and lean - "buffer" — i am again making alterations to enhance my ability to achieve my goal(s) and more!
i have decided to up my reps on sets. often now i shall be doing 10-15-20 rep schemes while training… still doing a lot of SHOCK tactics - r/p/r sets, xreps, drop sets, double drop sets, and DXO — alll inthe hopes of (1) get great burns/pumps; (2) get the natural HGH levels up high too!
the only exception is on arms, where i shall be doing slightly lower rep range - i am adamant in bringing up the arms in size, and i fear working them solely in the higher rep range - since i work them twice a week, i may do one day "high rep" and one day "lower rep" range. may…. we shall see…
today i do back. i shall do row narrow grip, medium grip, and wide grip. i use a grip that is "regular" and "inverse"/ or undergrip. so we are looking at rowing exercises of six in total.. each w/ 1-2-3 working sets.
that is intense work my friend!

today, i am training both pecs and abdominals…. i am doing press, incl press, flys, and incl flys. the garage (where i train) is very cold, and hence i must be certain to fully warm up the joints and muscles….i shall do several warm up sets and then 1-2 working sets w/ x reps and r/p/r sets…
i have begun to use a dumbell between my feet to do reverse crunches/leg lifts. i can really feel the burn in my abs - especially lower abs - a weak point on me. and something i need to brind up to par if i am to successfully achieve an 8 pack - of which i remain resolute.

today i am training my arms — bi and tri. i have determeind that my arms are lagging behind - perhaps significantly behind - my other bodyparts. and i wish to be symetrical. plus, who doesn’t wish to have big "guns"? lol
therefore, i am using the principal of priotization (espcoused by Weider and others). i am going to workout my arms every 4thday - giving 3 days rest to fully recover! i am also using this for my abdominals. i am working them at the least - every other day. sometimes back to back days -b/c the abs are quick muscle fibers, and likely to recover much much faster than other body parts.
i am deficient in arms and abs - naturally. always been my struggling, lagging bodyparts.
hence i am making efforts in changing this for the better and good!
i am tempted to work on my back even further (probably my strongest body part) - to make myself even wider - and hence, minimize my waist - give the illusion…but that is not the BEST case of work, and just avoiding what needs to be done.. it does not mean that i shall not concentrate hard on my back/lats, but not to prioritize them…

today, i am training legs and glutes. due to the auto accident - i cannot do lunges and squats w/out a Smith Machine (two favorite exercises of mine). so i do only leg ext, leg curls, and stiff legged deadlifts. i do a lot of SHOCK techniques — r/p/r sets, xreps, DXO, X Fades, etc…i do primarily two working sets for each exercise…. at the end i shall be undertaking abdominal work - primarilyworking on lower abs. i am beginning to use weight resistance too - using select-tech dumbells for weight resistance.

it is 2 days aways from my 39th birthday..i am resolving to transform, to create my physique to "new heights"! it can be done! i shall do it!
i was viewing pictures of Bill Pearl from the "glory era of bodybuilding" and i believe that i can accomplish "similar" results - and due to my physical characteristics (i.e., we are both somewhat blocky - not sinewy, etc). and current physique, he, Bill Pearl, is a good/strong role model for my efforts and endeavors!
now, chasing the lure of a Bill Pearl physique is nothing to take lightly - it’s like chasing Arnonld, or Haney, or Ronnie, or — well, one gets the point.
But, Bill Pearl was competing up to & paast the age of 41. next, he declares taht he did not roid’ (now i do n ot know if i believe this completely - i do accept that he did not roid’ up - and certainly not HGHed like current BB competitors! certainly not. hence i get some hope here - since i am "natural").
i plan to post a Bill Pear photo - i do not know (no anticipation) in eclipsing his legitimate 20+ inch cold arms. they are legendary!! but, his overall physique is obtainable - i believe.
and that is what i am shooting for!
today, i am training delts, traps, and abs in my condo garage on the Bowflex & Select-Tech Dumbells. i am trying to initiate REALLY slowing down the repetition - to almost 4 step rep - like Bowflex/Nautilus endorses. which is just a really, really slow and contracting rep - no matter what the bodypart….it will probablly require me to drop some of the poundages - but i am interested in my physique and growth! NOT lifting weight. not…

i am tending to more and more of Mike Mentzer’s philosophy and also Steve Holman’s (XREP.COM). i am doing 1-2 working sets on most exercises. i do xreps (partials) on all of my working sets now too….i am doing all that i can to make the exercises more intense - shorter time, RRP, DXO, etc….
i believe i can drop body fat, and still grow my arms out !!! make them swell!!

teh snow is stillever present, but the hope of an early and warm spring makes me go forward and train hard! today, i shall train back - doing Yates Rows, Bar Rows, 1 arm dum rows, and Cobra Pulls — to get my lats flaring and thick and wide… i personally really rely on the Yates Rows for lats - and the Bar Rows for mid back thickness. further, i use different width of grip on the bar (I use a narrow grip, and a wide grip)…
