Workout

January 17, 2009

Check out my three workouts from this week. Am I doing too much? Too little? Please leave me your feedback. I workout from home, that’s why it so free-weight based. I think I am in need of a lat attachment, aside from that (for now) I think I’m good with everything. I think I’ve finally figure out the the nutritional aspect of successfull bodbuilding. My main goal is to lose body fat. For me, this is working by almost eliminating meat from my intake. Again, please tell me what you think. You can’t hurt my feelings, I can only improve from it.

Moving right along…

November 11, 2008

I feel so good! I’ve not quit and I’m pushing myself pretty well! I started running every day in addition to my workouts. I run for 30 minutes or 4 miles whichever comes first. I do my workout three days a week and I force myself to make time for it. Today, I ran at the park, lifted weights and I’m going to play basketball later. Untill next time, so long as my heart doesn’t exlpode.

Long exasperated sigh…

October 26, 2008

After experimenting with varying styles of workouts, I have finally discoverd what works best for me. I have been able to maintain this for about a month, so I think I’m on my way. My biggest challenge is life getting in the way. I work in retail, so time and routine is difficult to come by. I recently attempted to "get out" of the business for a 9-5er, but that didn’t work out too well. I also have a wondefull wife and son, who stand behind me no matter what. In this environment, it’s difficult to be selfish and spend time by myself, for myself. I am working harder to maintain that "selfishness" and compartmentalize my life so if I have a bad day at work, that doesn’t mean I have to have a bad day at home. For most men, the job is directly wired to the self-esteem. I haven’t done the gym thing for several reasons. It costs money and I already own the equipment. What I lose from that is the social interaction that can sometime challenge the individual and bring out better results. That’s why I’m doing this. Tell me what you think, good bad or indifferent. Honesty is the straightest line to the best result!
