A new beginning

OK so today I’ve been searching the net for a good workout routine and I came across this website http://www.intense-workout.com/diet2.html. Its loaded with free info and advice that is geared towards the beginners like myself. I came up with a new schedule starting Sunday:

Sunday- Cardio

Monday- Chest/Biceps/cardio

Tuesday- Legs/cardio

Wednesday- Shoulders/cardio

Thursday- Triceps/back

Friday- off

Saturday- off

I was a little confused about how to split up the target areas to workout each day so I wont over work my muscles. So any suggestions would be great.

I started a new diet last week which is going absolutely great. I feel so much healthier, and i have a lot more energy. I eat small healthy snacks (raw veggies and fruit, nuts, seeds) through out the day, protein bar, oatmeal, fresh smoothies with extra protein and fat burner, fish, chicken, lots of milk. I want to get some supplements like the protein powder but I’m not sure what to get and where to get it.

I’m out for now but will update in a couple of weeks.

Looks like a pretty good routine … Depending on the intensity of the cardio, 4 days in a row might be a little too fatiguing. You can always switch Tuesdays cardio to Thursday if you feel it is necessary. Good luck, ILC!

You sound like a girl on a mission. You know what you want, and you know just how to get there. (Couple of questions)
Have you looked at the “Workout Data Base” right here on Bodybuilding.com? It’s a really great feature. It’s where I found my workout routine. Also, there are reviews you can find in the store about protein. The diet you are on sounds like (and looks like) its really working out for you. You are looking good. I would stick with what you’re doing right now.
I would have to agree with BornToLift when he says all the cardio might be a little too fatiguing. Cardio is important, but you also burn a lot of calories by lifting heavy weight.
At any rate, good luck….you really do look good…..Take care.
