8 months out
Oh man, it just dawned on me: I am 8 months out from my first competition. I know, I know… i should calm down and take it day by day. And after this first competition, things will go easier in my mind. But it’s my first comp and I’m worried. There’s so much size I want to add before stepping on stage. I worried that once I cut down to the 6 or whatever percent, I’m gonna look like a twig. Being 6′5" I’m worried I’m not gonna fill out enough during this bulking time. My diet is awesome, I am putting on weight.. but it’s still in the front of my mind, this tooth pick walking out on stage. Who is he? and what is he doing here?
Man, those last thoughts are aweful and so not true. I work my ass off in the gym… and the moment I step on stage, it will be awesome. I can’t wait for October to arrive. It’s gonna be killer.

I’m 8 months out too and if you look at me you’d be like girl whaaat!! you got work to do!) at least thats what I think people would think now…….but I know I have work to do and I’m going to set a high goal of competing…….I’m nervous too but if I do the right things our bodies should respond…..I keep telling myself THESE THINGS DON’T HAPPEN OVER NIGHT otherwise we would not have 34% of the American population OBSESE!!! and 33% overweight!!
you just have to want it bad enough
best of luck!

You’re going to have an awesome 8 months of bulking! Just try not to worry about it, and focus on training and diet. When you step onto that stage, you can proud that you gave it 100%. Of course there’s always more size to put on..but you can deal with that after the show. You’ll also see how you look bringing your bf% down to 6%. Plus, the rebound is AWESOME. Your muscles are going to be so hungry, you’ll put on massive gains after your show. Good luck with your contest prep!
